I voted no...
It would be adding a whole other level to wmes that will only be available to a select group of people who can afford them. I don't feel like we should be adding another rift in the community, especially since WMEs aren't their own site that needs funding from deluxe members to keep it going like sim games. As someone who doesn't have a DA and doesn't intend to get one... and who can't spend real money online readily anyway, I feel pretty strongly about this.
I really believe that WMEs should remain free... and that customs shouldn't be an order-able option. The people who have their customs worked for them, either from being part of staff, or from coloring 200 equids. It's what makes them so special to their owners. Additionally, with the whole hullabaloo with rares being too common, paying for customs would let everybody and their dog order the new rare fad... kind of breaking the purpose of restricting rares to being rare.

I feel like people (Speaking to the community in general, not trying to single anyone out) are forgetting that this would be either an annual thing, or even a one time thing. It's not like we'd be able to order a custom whenever we wanted. Besides that, you can always start a donation pool on DA for those of you who can't currently afford one.

Option 2: The Auction

- Auction a set number of each type of rare/special custom for USD/Points
- Every $5 raised puts a normal equid custom into a raffle where those who HAVEN'T bought a custom can win
- Money is split between all artists/staff
- Is a one off event

I think people ignored this option. Specifically the part where as people spend money customs are offered to the wider community FOR FREE. And ignored the parts that say "One-off event".

Equids will still run as normal, with free adopts, breedings and events. It will not all transfer to paid. I never said that. It would be a LIMITED amount of customs for a LIMITED amount of time. The reason for a auction is so that people won't break the bank trying to get the money, they offer what they can.

If you don't have the money don't buy a custom, wait for an event or for the raffle.

I want no more comments on this until I come back and ask again. I want to give people time to read everything PROPERLY and to come up with their own ideas. So I will ask again in about a week, on a separate topic so we don't spam the fanclub and EVERYONE can get heard.

Well, I think Djehuti and Briar Rose are pretty well off in their relationship. She really brings out the best in him, and he has calmed down a lot since being with her.

If I auctioned double and single event/special custom equids for USD/Deviantart Points (Via deviantart not CS) what would your reaction be?

Well, come the Poll, I would say yes but let me explain some, I haven't really read a lot of the posts, I am just more explaining my vote on the poll XP.

Pay for Customs? Yes, I would definitely do that, being I will soon be getting a job (Hopefully). I have so many ideas for customs it excites me that we could buy them, and even specials as well. But, I'd still root for non-payable custom opportunities like the 200 challenge and such. Maybe even have a few non-payable special contests as well.

Pay for breedings? Maybe, It might be cool to keep it the way it is, but add something is you pay. Like, have free slots in breedings, and then have payable slots. Payable slots each round may have specials to them like.. request rare genes in the bloodlines, or maybe Auto roan if the parents are roan, or even if you use themes you can request the unnatural colors of the mane, like Pink or Red. Little specials like that would be a cute Idea since there can be so many things you can add to it.

So having a little bit of both to make the WME community friendly to all kinds of users would be really fun <3 Maybe even make it possible users can Buy for others as gifts and surprises?

Are your equids personalities similar to their mates, or do they contrast?

I think Soumraku and Galadriel are pretty similar personality wise.

Cinis and Miracle seems pretty similar too, though I feel like Cinis is quite a bit more cynical.

Gavreel is shy and a bit socially awkward sometimes and I feel like his mate, Silvanus, is much more confident and leader-like

Crowley and Aziraphale are literally polar opposites. Crowley dislikes pretty much everybody, loves encouraging evil deeds and loves making other uncomfortable. Aziraphale trusts everyone too much, helping others do good and trying to make everyone as comfortable as can be.
