I don't like most texture packs. I've used a few before but I haven't found any I really liked.

Yes I do use texture packs, as for which one I cannot remember. It makes my MC look smoother and less pixelated <3

Has anyone experienced a texture pack that wouldn't show up in Minecraft? I'm trying to use a pack called "Pencil Pack" and I put the zipped file in my resource pack folder, like I always do, but when I try to select that pack in game it doesn't show up in the list.
So far I have tried:
1. re-downloading the pack
2. checking it's the right version (it is)
3. opening Minecraft in 1.6.4, 1.7.2, 1.7.4, 1.7.9 and 1.7.10 just to check (didn't display in any of those versions either)
4. unzipping it to see if it had all the proper stuff in all the proper places with all the proper extensions (it did)
5. pasting fresh code into the pack.mcmeta
6. replacing the textures in a copy of a working pack with the ones from the non-working pack
...all to no avail. Ugh.

Ugh, because of Mojang's stupid EULA one of my favorite servers may shut down :C
It's kind of stupid that it's now illegal to get money off of your MC server because without the donations, all the servers will shut down and minecraft will be a thing of the past.
