Hello!! My friend booshcat and I own a private, whitelisted realms server. It's vanilla survival, so there's no creative mode or mods or anything allowed. We'd love to add some people to play with us, and we're hoping to add 3-5 new mature members to come along the server!

Here's some screenshots of what we have done on the server so far. We've only had the server up for about less than a week.

Guys try to be a bit nicer if you want people to join your servers. Calling them annoying doesn't help when trying to get new players, sometimes it is best to keep those thoughts to yourself because you don't know what that person has been through. They may act like it doesn't bother them, but it most likely does. When a player says "I'm just going to shut up now" it signals that they are extremely uncomfortable or nervous. They most likely think they are being a nuisance and you dislike them for it. It drives them away because they feel unwelcome/unwanted and believe that being on your server irritates you even more.

I'm not going to say any names, but that's how I feel on a certain Realm server at the moment, that two CS members made. Guys, you said it was for mature people, yet when I state that someone is obviously using my house and belongings without my permission and then be rather cold towards me when I "complain," you aren't being very mature in handling the situation. I came on because you said it was for mature teenagers and young adults, not for someone to use my own house/belongings and then get called annoying for wanting the problem solved. I am NOT happy about it and I am extremely offended that you said I was the one that did it. How can I move around my own things and use them when I haven't been on for two full days? I have OCD, I do not stack my belongings in multiple stacks of 8 and leave things in the furnace for very long. I had 17 iron in my furnace and no coal, I came back on to 10 smelted and coal in one of my furnaces. Someone is using my house and my belongings and I don't like it. It is causing my anxiety and paranoia to rise because I don't know this person or what they are doing. They don't seem to know what "if its not yours don't touch" means because I've had stacks of missing building material and coal. None of my friends are on this server because you said you would let them join...yet never invited them even when I gave you their MC users (yes they have accounts here). This should not happen on a mature server. Its called mature for a reason, everyone leaves each others houses alone unless they politely ask for something or they are IRL friends, etc.

Keep control over your players, its no fun anymore when someone is obviously taking over another's house while they are offline. When someone wants to have their say in a problem they have, don't call them annoying and that they should shut up. That's not a good way to handle the situation, nor your server itself. Don't be sarcastic and rude for no proper reason because it never works out in the end. You just end up offending someone, and if you own the server then you lose a player. The community is suppose to be friendly and hostile-free. It is not when even the owners are being mean to their own players. I don't understand why people are so rude to their players like they are superior than them.

Just because you don't like someone doesn't mean you can treat them like trash, your server or not.

I'm not here to argue with anyone so if you want to flame/badmouth me then reply in PM.

Don't need to remind me that I'm annoying, I've been called that and 9000x worse...words that should never be said and phrases that should never exist. I get that my presence is annoying, which you agreed to on the server. Thank you for making me feel like an unwanted waste of space and that you hate my guts. If you want to run a server, deal with the dang complaints because there is always someone doing something they shouldn't be doing in the first place. I just happened to be a victim and then treated like the scum under your shoe.

I will reply on here, because quite frankly you felt the need to post here yourself instead of coming to me directly, and you are speaking as if the I, the owner of the server said all of those things directly to you and that is not true. I am the sole person running this server and you are acting as if there is multiple people- which is also not true.

There's 6 people on the server total (a few of them aren't even active) and as I've told you many times before I can't check who steals what. And this is the first incident you've brought to my attention that you were *positive* was the doings of another player. You weren't on for a span of 2 days, and I wasn't on much during that time either so it's not like I can vouch for everyone. But I can tell you that half the server wasn't active during those days either. And when I was online with others, the players were nowhere near your house.

And I said "complaining" as a point in my sentence and indeed told you I didn't mean it as you complaining, but that the problem bothered you enough to say something about it. I can't control what other people say, I am not in charge of their mouths and I am sorry for that.

Oh, and I offered a solution to prevent what I could in the future. There are ender chests all around town that is for public use, but you weren't keen on using them unless the situation got worse. So to me it even sounded like you weren't that keen yourself on getting the issue fixed. (:

And we did say it was for mature players, but at the same time you're posting this whole spiel on a public thread instead of addressing your problems to me. We probably should've done a better job filtering through mature people and will reflect back on this incident in the future.

Thanks for sharing your input (which in my opinion is missing facts and blown way out of proportion) on this public thread and creating unnecessary drama that isn't needed nor allowed here.

I was simply stating and not even directly talking to you that people shouldn't do that in the first place. I was speaking to everyone in general over the issue of better control over servers in general. Thank you for removing me before I even had a say, or apologize for that matter. I have anxiety, I will respond in the way I think is best. All you had to do was ask for me to delete it and say you did not wish for that statement to be there and actually let me respond to you via PM.

I was about to suggest as a reply to your PM a meeting for all players and simply enforce the rules, etc, or to PM them on here about it and simply state that whoever is doing it needs to stop. I was also going to apologize for the mis-communication because I tend to do that a lot. I can't help my multitude of disorders (which is honestly a horrible combination), calling someone with disorders immature isn't very nice. Even though I can control most of them others I cannot. It is simply not my fault for having them in the first place.

I did not know you were solely running the server. I automatically thought both of you were in charge.

I was positive because I live on the other side of the lake, you have to cross the bridge to get to my house. I do not like odd and weird stacks of things and have to have them in a particular order. They were out of place and in odd stacks I don't put them in, I should know because I understand how my brain works.

Complaining means constantly whining like a child. I simply stated that I did not like what was happening to me, and it was honestly very creepy and freaky because it makes me think I'm either going insane or someone really is doing it. I do not like tricky events like that happening, even on a game such as Minecraft. It scares me because I don't know what's going on. The reason for that is because of traumatic experiences I will not talk about.

If you want all players to be mature that includes everyone. Thank you for crossly pointing out about me "not being mature" when you are directly striking out at me on the public thread and then PM me calling me immature. I would have PMed you if I could in the first place. I had no other option than to post on this thread and even then I did not once mention your username or your friend involved. Did I say it was your realm? Nope, nobody would have known except for those who are on it.

Thank you for making me nearly burst out in tears because I'm an insecure moron who can't handle anything.
