@Vanoss Hey! It's been a while since I've seen this species (of course cause it's been closed down for a while), but it would be cool for there to still be an active fanbase! I'm a fellow nonowner [in fact, all of my failed attempts are permentley documented here], but honestly the people that I've met when everyone was active really inspired me, made me so determined to get a Plumerian.

@vanoss;; hey there!! I think my favorite thing about plumerians was, at the time that plumerians were still around, how active the community was. It was so much fun chatting with folks all the time. The art in the community was always amazing too!

This is Esther Bee Griffin! As of April of this year I have owned her for 3 years. She was my primary character for ages, and still means a whole lot to me. I still very clearly remember crying in the back of a car when I saw I had won this beautiful plume.

This is Kioki Trolli Hoosier, the son of Esther! He's gone through multiple personality revamps, but I will always love him dearly.

This is Kodiak Faist! I poured my heart out in the competition to win him, and I'm so glad it paid off. He is such an adorable bby, I love his whole story so dearly.

Last but not least, this is Cornelius! They are the child of Kodiak, and the grandchild of esther! They were actually the last nursery batch ever made, which is kind of wild. I love this grumpy little kid <3

@Chamomile- I remember you!! I actually tried out for Kodiak as well under the name Marci when I was first starting to code! They were the first I ever tried out for. I love your kiddos. They're absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing!

I'm going to try and keep this thread running for as long as I can. I might try to do an event maybe closer to the 25th of December. Doing Holiday cards, art, a nice piece of writing, or a heartwarming message to someone else in the plumerian community whether new or old.

This is Reese!
Reese constantly gives off the wrong expression to others when one first meets her. While Reese can come off as cold and uncaring, and while she can be both of those things, she is a more prone to call you stupid for something than do anything else. She's a calm and collected person, striving to do her best no matter how small a task may be. Others may see her as selfish and rude because she can't stand being around others and rarely does anything for anyone other than her wife, kids and grandkids.

Her temper can get the better of her sometimes and she'll say words she doesn't mean to, but doesn't everyone? Reese is by no means perfect but she's trying and learning how to cope with her anger. She has a fierce distrust of getting close to new people and her best friend can assure that's the case. It took her months to even try and be friendly to him, and years more to completely trust him. Reese doesn't try to be this way, but most of her childhood was spend making friends and being told they were just pity friendships, or having fall outs with said friends.

In school Reese was never a girl that cared about make up, dresses, looking pretty or anything girly. She loved sports and was her school's star basketball player. Despite this she still got all flustered and still does when she's called pretty. Reese has found her peace in her wife Arabella and the family they've made, who she proposed to at a home made dinner after a few years of them dating. Committing was hard for Reese to do, because she didn't want her marriage to end up in them splitting because of some stupid reason. Still she did, and she will never regret her choice.

This is Ryder!
Ryder is a weird man. While he can be a total jerk who acts like he's better than all around him he really is a caring person, and his kids and husband mean the absolute world to him even if he has a mean way of showing it. He teases people constantly and pokes fun at his husband despite how annoyed it makes him.

This is Mycroft!
For someone so into catching things such as ghosts and the like, Mycroft is awfully timid. Something as small as a quick jumpscare in a game will send him into a skittish and over cautious state where he over checks every little thing, often making small tasks such as going to get a snack from the kitchen much longer than they need to be. Yet he always watches things like horror games, scary stories, and ghost hunting videos. Despite the fact that paranormal things make him so scared Mycroft is still very intrigued by them and loves to study them even though he knows he'll regret it. His family sometimes tells him maybe he should give up this love of the unknown if it makes him this frightened, but he just shakes his head and tells them that he can handle it.

Mycroft tends to keep to himself for the most part and hold his fears and problems in due to fearing that someone else is just having worse problems and that he has no right to complain. It's not that he doesn't have a good support system, his family are clearly there for him no matter what but Mycroft finds himself not wanting to bother them. A bad habit he picked up over the years from beating himself up over small mistakes. He doesn't see a tiny mishap as just that, for him anything he does that isn't perfect is horrible and he should feel bad for it. It's not easy for Mycroft to admit that he has an issue and then accept it.

Despite the fact that he's a huge scaredy cat Mycroft still likes to go out with his group of fellow paranormal pals. They like to go out and hunt for ghosts and other creatures and while Mycroft mostly spends his time clinging to one of his friends in fear he still enjoys it. Most often Mycroft is the one that researches possible haunted buildings or areas where sightings of strange activity has been reported so they can go on a hunt there. He's very dedicated to doing his research and making sure where ever the group ends up is safe for them to be around. His little group of friends mean the world to him and he'd hate for them to get hurt because he didn't research enough. Mycroft tends to be himself accountable when someone does.

When Mycroft is around others he's a bright and cheerful presence no matter how shy he is. He tries his best to let his friends and family know how great he thinks they are and how much they mean to him. While he can't very well give himself a boost of confidence he refuses to see anyone he loves talk bad about them self and often has millions of reasons as to why someone should smile. He often seems clueless as to what's going on around him because he's bad about zoning out and daydreaming, which is always a bit embarrassing when someone notices, but otherwise it's a harmless habit of his.

The place that Mycroft feels the most peace for sure however is the animal shelter where he works. He tends to spend most of his time there and even comes in when he doesn't need to. Being around animals is something that just completely makes the bad things go away and puts the faint-hearted plumie at peace. Mostly he loves helping out with the big dogs because for the most part they're all big teddy bears and he enjoys getting to walk them and spend time with them. His day is always made when a pet he's been helping take care of gets adopted and he always finds time to make a little gift basket of the animals favorite toys and treats to send home with the pets new family.

Hey guys! :3 Haven't been here in forever. Did I ever introduce Trix? Not sure.


This is my first boy, Chianti. Honestly, he needs a massive revamp personality-wise. Not much to say about this little adventurer at the moment. I'm not sure where his mate's owner is. [Mate was Hangzhou.] Hmmm...


AAAHHH, KAT! She's still one of my favorites. [Although she needs a bit of a revamp too...] My sassy, sharp-witted band manager keeps a certain trio of Sima dudes from causing mayhem as they tour across the country. She's married to Trix, who Spenc gifted to me a while back. [Thanks again!] Kinda sad that she never got to have kiddos before they closed. Maybe I'll be able to adopt an adoptive child for her one day.


And here is my game designer boy Trix. Who also needs a bit of a revamp. Goodness, it has been forever. He loves hiking and playing video games, two seemingly opposite activities. Did you know that their wedding rings say Player One and Player Two?
