I think it would be best to go with the first idea you had, it is harder, but more rewarding.

I wont buy a mini-radar so I can do longer hunts.

eevee;; I suggested we worked together to fill our shiny dex and pokedex. So we could do 2 hunts at once. Pix said she had a mini-radar so hunting would cost her money. I said I should help pay. Then I suggested we join accounts. Pix said abut the time zones.

Heres my original pm:
I just wanted to ask if you'd be a collecter budddy with me.

Currently Im going through the pokdex from entry 1 to entry 500. I have got up to raichu.

This would be much faster if you'd do it with me. Beneficial for both of us.

I.E. You could be shiny hunting charmander and I could shiny hunt squirtle. Once weboth had 2 we'd swap them other. Meaning we'd bothe end up with a shiny charmander and a shiny squirtle.

Also, if you got 2 male bulbasaurs and I got 2 female bulbasaurs we'd do a swap ^_^

I was hoping to do mainly a shiny dex completion with you becuase together we can do twice as many hunts. And we can show off how many shinies we get. I can hunt for 3 shiny vulpix (one for me, one for you, and one for the person offering shaymin)

Also I can give you the dex entries for raikou, suicune and shaymin.

If I get an extra of one legendary I would contact you first.

Let me know what you think. After the vulpix hunt and eevee hunt Im starting my shiny dex so I can get a shiny bulbasaur(well actually 3 so you can evolve some to ivysar and venusaur) for you. If you liken the idea can you hunt for 6 shiny charmanders(3 for you, 3 for me. To get all its evolved forms each.Im doing the same) So I can give you a shint bulbasaur for a shiny charmander.

So basically from my above statement we should in a few weeks each have a shiny bulbasaur, ivysaur, venusaur, charmander, charmeleon and charizard. Each.
