I'll see if I can give you a redline later tonight c: You're always welcome to poke at me on tumblr, too.

Does anyone else want a redline for me while I'm popping my head in?

WitchOraelin, that actually looks really good. I especially like the shading. Did you use any sort of reference for it? I'm just curious. c:
The hat looks a little odd, though. As if it's behind her head instead of on it. The brim of the hat should fall in front of her, covering part of her head. A bit like this, you see? And mind the highlights. Make that little dot of white smaller or scatter some dots. Right now it looks so lonely. :c

Fox-Zura, I suggest studying up on regular anatomy a bit before heavily stylizing. Your colours and shading did improve, though! As well as your use of colours. On the human, lower the breasts and make them smaller so they look more natural on the body. Also make the head a bit rounder, as one of her cheeks is wider than the other. You're getting better, though.

Lass, your art has improved so much. I love the sharp style!
The mouth is a little aslope, though, pointing downwards almost. Also that random line on the nose seems so odd. Perhaps if you removed it an worked with colour to define certain features it'd work better. Just my thoughts, though. The hand also isn't bad, but the palm seems too long. If you look at your hand, then you'll see that the thumb ends around the first part of the finger. And now I hate myself for not remembering any of the english anatomy terms, but I hope you know what I mean. I can try to give you a redline tomorrow, if you want?

Schizoid, that's snazzy. Really love the lineless work and the smoothness of it all. Also loved how you defined different parts by making them subtly darker. Good work! You work is very vector-like. So if you want more tips, I can suggest searching for vector tutorials, if only to learn from how vector artists add shading and the likes.

-----------------------

Let's see.. do I need to add more..
I can't give any redlines at the moment, though.
Ohwell.
So I found an old sketch yesterday. I decided to fix some stuff and slap some lazy shading onto it.. just how I like it. So, yeah, have a shirtless scientist. It'll make this thread more beautiful.

I know the head is too big.

She's a cub, so you know.

Can I get any more on this?

Rebell- Here's one: xx

But really, the best idea is to look at the anatomy yourself. Look up bones and see how things connect on the inside, rather than just drawing randomly from the outside.

Thank you Nex<3
That's a lovely character you have there, and some nice abs XD

Koiyote- Hmm. The body seems a bit stiff, and like it has no structure.
And although the tail is 'stumpy' it looks out of place. I would give you a redline, but I don't have time *.*

That's alright, thank you for critiquing anyways.

But one question, what do you mean by no structure?

@ bel ; thank you for the redline! :o she was supposed to have thin hips actually. ehe and i completely understand the tablet problem, mine has been acting funny since i downloaded a new driver. :T

@ koiyote ; i hope you don't mind a redline this time around. uvu i think you did really well on the face, and the back legs!

i whipped this up real quick. the head was nearly perfect so i only needed to redline a circle for proportions. you'd probably want a thicker neck than the one i did for a leopard tho

@ harp ; oh thank you for the offer! <: i hope you can manage to do one~

@ nex ; thank you! c: oh gosh i didnt even notice the mouth sloping until now,and i see what you mean about the hand. thank you for your help!
shirtless scientists need to be everywhere yes? i can't see much to critique about it other than maybe the face shape but i'm not quite sure about that even being off by much.

This is basically my first time really paying attention to feline anatomy, so I'm glad it's decent. XD
I'll make sure to work on those areas next time. c:

Yes, cats are limp and flexible, but they still have body structure :3
