BBC is very into recycling their actors.

BBC Merlin has had four actors in Doctor Who.

The one who played Merlin. [Midnight episode]
The one who played Gais [the Doctor in the episodes with the gas mask child]
The one who played Gwen [as a companion to Madame LaPompador]
The one who played Uther [principal with the Xrillitane]

Yup, and I recognized them because I love BBC Merlin.
I don't check messages here. If you've found me through other websites or communities such as deviantART/Kiamaras, my characters are not for sale and never will be.

Yeah plus it's been a kind of 'trend' almost to have a future companion show up in DW (Martha as mentioned, Donna showed up for the Christmas special of series 3, and Amy was in series 4 ->Fires of Pompeii).

And don't forget Clara Oswin Oswald, as seen in Asylum of the Daleks.

I feel like that's kinda different though since that was after she was cast as the companion when that episode aired + it followed the personal plot for that companion? I guess it's not any different than Donna popping up early though ^.^

^ Donna wasn't meant to be a recurring character when she first showed up though. Same with Martha and Amy - when their actors first were on the show, they were only there as a one-time deal and there was no plan for them to become companions later. :3 As I recall, Moffat was actually against the idea of Karen Gillan as a companion when the idea was suggested, because he remembered her from Fires of Pompeii as being 'short and dumpy'. O.o I suspect he was remembering the wrong person.

AHAHA Karen being short and dumpy. Oh lord. That makes me laugh as Matt usually describes her as "Legs forever" and very lanky.

Me and a few of my Whovian friends were talking about how you can connect petty much any BBC to any other BBC show by at least one of the actors. I swear there are only about 20 actors in the BBC I just see the same people everywhere :)
Take a child, raise her into a perfect psychopath, introduce her to the Doctor. Who else was I going to fall in love with? - River Song
When I was a little girl, I had an imaginary friend.

i wish there were more Whovians in my school, but i guess that's why i joined this fan club ^^

It gets even more fun when you carry over the relationships in one show to those in another. Some of the combinations you can end up with are pretty hilarious. Some of them work perfectly fine (like Eleven/Rose), others are odd but strangely appropriate (like the Master/Liz 10 or the Master/Romana), and others... well, imagine Ten in a romantic triangle with Jackson Lake and the Empress of the Racnoss, while singing the lyrics "If you say that you are mine/ I'll be here 'til the End of Time". o.o

Well.
Then.
I'm just gonna go think about what I have learned or watch Doctor Who. Probably the second option. Ohwell.
