Medusa's Cascade,

Did you flatten the image yet?
If not (SAI directions), then save it as a PSD, open it up in Photoshop or GIMP, then save it as a PNG there. All places without pixels will then be transparent. If you drew it on Photoshop or GIMP to begin with, then just save it as a PNG, and you should be good to go.
But if you flattened the image, then what you can do is set the layer to "multiply." All white/light areas will become transparent/partially transparent. Save as a PNG afterwards.

Anddd really. Random. Art.
Nezumi and Shion from the anime, No. 6, as a merman, and some hapless sailor............ I have no idea why I got the urge to draw this, but I'm fairly happy with it. = u =;

Done in class so the anatomy may be rough, but I'd love critiques!
A few things- The neck is supposed to be a little longer than normal, the tail is poofy for a reason, and the ears are also that big on purpose.
____________

asdfghjkl; both of the arts in front of me are humans. x.x

I'm not good at people, so I can't say much.

But I'll try. c:

Salt- If it's only feet critique you're looking for, I'm of no help. I'd just suggest looking at real people standing in that position, good ref.

Susiron- I love how you color so much. ;-; The mer-man(?) looks really good, I love him. Something about the chin of the sailor man seems off though, and I can't really tell what it is.

Bah, I'm no help. -.-

Koyote- I feel like the top of the front legs, eright before it hits the torso, buldge awkwardly. But that's just me.
Other then that, the picture has nice proportions and it looks awesome for a class doodle.

Susi-Looks really, really nice. I do have a few minor crits, just some things I noticed ^.^'
His tail doesn't have any scales. I feel like mermen(/maids) should have scaly tails. So, maybe just a few spots of scales here and there.
Secondly, the hapless sailor is underwater. And probably seeking a merman, he's in shock. Which means he probably gasped. Which doesn't work under water. Get where I'm going with this? ^.^
I feel like he should be a little more, erm, blue, so to speak. ^.^ Haha

Salt-Not to evilly tear into your picture, but here are a few things I noticed.
Her legs are to small. Wayy to small. So, erm, thicken em up ^.^'
Her feet are very small, very round. I'd kind of make them longer, and don't curve them up top.
Also- a pose like that would indicate embarrassment. So I would redden her cheeks.

Hope this helps guys ^.^ :D

Drew this. Having trouble. Oh yea, I gave up on the hooves. XD

Koiyote,

Thank you C: -- I've been really playing around with colours a lot lately, so that comment means a lot.
And hrmm, now that you mention it, his chin does seem a bit off : O -- I think it may have to deal with the placement of the mouth? Mouths have always been a weak point for me. xD

Ohh, I really like that character you drew, Koi! : O -- you got lucky buying him up! :3
I really love how you did his expression and ears. < 3
Hrmm, I think maybe his haunches and hind legs seem a bit awkward? Maybe too close to the front legs?
Looks excellent besides that; good job on shaping the front legs. :3

Moonstar,

Hrmm, I did add scales, but only a few-- perhaps I should have added more? xD -- I was being a bit lazy with it there, and think that I probably should have added some scales around the connection from human to fish.

As for his expression, I don't think he'd have been underwater long enough to be turning blue yet. Maybe on the verge of running out of breath, but not quite to going back up. If he were blue, then I would think that he'd have a pained expression to match, not quizzical, if you get what I mean. So I don't think that makes much sense for it :I -- Maybe if I had made his mouth actually open, and his features more distorted, that would be a nice touch, but I sort of thought that he'd still have some breath in him.

Hrmm, for your deer-- very nice pose for it. C:
I think my main critiques would be that his body seems a bit unshapely though, especially with how the back bends, and the legs connect. Deer don't really bend their backs downwards-- actually, it's more of the opposite. Slopes up towards their rump some. The body itself also is often thicker, almost like a cat-- well, in the way that it's "boxed."
For the legs-- the front leg closest to us seems to have the most issues. it doesn't bend in the correct direction, and looks more like a human leg. Instead of making the leg bend back, it should bend forward right after the shoulder area, and then downward. For an example-- http://cdn1.arkive.org/media/43/4348204 ... unning.jpg
For the hind leg, I'd just say make the thick bigger, and higher up. :3

Naw, I'm actually happy for the helpful critique! I'll try to raise her hips next time I make a similar drawing, with thicker legs. I was trying out Chibi, but human chibis just aren't my thing for now. For the feet though, I don't want to show her feet length by giving her to ballet shoe look, so how do I do so with feet flat on the floor? xP
