out of all the signatures you made, which one do you think is your best and why?
sadly, this one. it's from when i first started coding, and thats probably the fifth signature i made, and considering that i sucked at coding back then i'm still amazed i was able to do that.
i haven't coded at all recently because time is n OT on my side and i've had coding block and no muse and just ughh

how has your coding style changed over time?
it's changed a lot and its a lot better now, it honestly changed drastically sense i only started coding back in late 2017-

first coding shoppe - this was when i first started to code and i just really hated it so everything is deleted h a omg eww i still somehow found one of my first signatures by scrolling through the thread and i didn't even know how shoppes worked send help
second coding shoppe - ehh less cringe, but i still laugh at it xdd
third coding shoppe - whew okay actually getting decent and recent now- oh hello ddlc screech some people are still using the signatures they ordered from there wow ok

a certain potato someone told me to post on this thread again after i messaged them at 11-ish pm. so, here i am i guess? i haven't coded in so long, but school ends next wednesday, so i'll be sure to do a lot more coding afterwards...!! qAq

i.... oh. i took a look through my imgur album, and uhhh. i really don't know how i feel about my coding tbh.
however, i do like this commission i made sometime last year as well as this personal signature ;v;

how has your coding style changed over time?
i used to only do [left][left][left] signatures when i first started, and they were only as large as the preview screen that you get when coding your signature. however, i tend to do more image manipulating if i get my hands on an image with a transparent background, or a glitchy gif effect if i'm feeling up to it/fits the theme. i also use a lot of half boxes now, drop caps, and those lil black unicode box thingies that i cant really explain. i just use it a lot.
,, actually now that i think about it i used those black unicode thingies a lot back in 2015, 2016 and 2017 as well. huh.

1. the first one i had was free, and i got a mod to delete it, so no links :"( sorry sorry but im glad that its deleted; you guys don't need to see how much i sucked in late 2015/early 2016 :p
2. my second "coding shop" was a joint one with @thebeegirls as seen here, but i had quit the shop before it closed down. that's why my corner doesn't exist anymore lmao
3. i left bee's coding shop to join this shop. it didn't live for very long because one of the coders kept having issues with the customers, and they eventually left. everyone else soon followed so eh.
4. twas my fourth one. it's terrible. it's horrible. i dont know what the hell i was thinking when i made this. i didn't give myself enough space when coding this out, and that's totally on me rip
5. my fifth one was also bad. the form kept breaking because i never thought that people would need that much space to write, and yeah it's just broken.
6. here's a shared coding shop with @salty potato. it's probably my favourite coding shop because it's soukoku centric and because the coding i did for that shop is relatively close to what i do now.
7. this is my current coding shop, resonate !! the coding for it turned out alright, since i was winging it like usual. however, i do have a commission that i need to finish, so i'll probably do that over the weekend or something. whoopsies.

how has your coding style changed over time?
oof quite a bit. here was my very first try at coding. and then after that, i sort of had an epiphany and seriously started getting into coding. my style was literally all over the place at first. here's a personal testament to this. they're all pretty broken now since i used firefox then instead of chrome (it's a shame because i actually really liked my form for redley and tatsukishi on the fifth page) and this was before the update where they absolutely ruined wide text, and i can't use most of them anymore since cs rules and all that

hecc uh i already gave my two cents in advance if you read up on my replies so i'll just link and let y'all have a look. all of the ones i have had so far are shared, but i'm thinking of running a solo shop soon~

first shop: 双黒 (soukoku) - my first coding shop ever, shared with .kaede
second shop: evolution - this one is shared with TheBeeGirls
current one - technically it's a shared shop but feyghost can't/doesn't post much on the thread or work on orders, but i really love their image edits and their past works are the pictures i used for the shop~ they also did the borders for my avatar as well

@metaphor \\ hecc i'm glad you like it :') your sig is really nice too~ i'm not a huge fan of strictly monotone-themed or wolf sigs, but it's really cute how you manage to do the choco/lesbian/teen and the coder/artist/cs veteran thing because i'd never would have thought of that. there's a huge gap on both sides of the second column though, and that's a little disconcerting for me, and some of the fonts contrast with each other a lot, but other than that, your use of columns within columns is quite well thought-out

@skyline \\ aa thanku! your coding style is big sigs, which i'm not a huge fan of, but i love your use of boxes, typography and image cropping. i love soft, muted colors, so the color palette of your sig is really nice as well. it's so soft and easy on the eyes and i like your use of the arrow dingbats on your sig. something just like this is also a very nice song,it always makes me feel a lil sappy and nostalgic...and reminds me a lot of the sig that bee made for me boop

@.kaede \\ now i feel really called out now :< and it's a shame that trash land died because i actually really liked that one (yin's and nekoma's corner was one of my favorites, and yours made me laugh when i first saw it). sakura is really cute too! i like how you played around with the boxes at the very first post (top right) and ooF SOUKOKU AHAHHHAHA I'M NOT GONNA LIE I LOVED THE CODING I DID FOR MY CORNER AND ALSO BECAUSE CHUUYA IS MY SON AND FOREVER WILL BE those manga pics were literal hell to make transparent though i spent so long on them and i only ended up using like six of the ones i edited :(

Commission 1 - I like this one because it really shows my improvement in coding over the years. I also just like the images and the aesthetic. c:

idk, i just kinda like the vibes they gave aha, esp w/ matching av + interests but i dont have a screenshot of tht haha
i prefer not to do img-heavy sigs bc i like to play around w/ diff keyboard symbols & borders,etc
overall i think my style is pretty simple & im not the best/most creative coder but yaaa lol

I'm debating on whether or not I should start a code shop. My coding is garbage compared to the rest of you on here, but I do enjoy doing it and have done a few commissions for some people! My style is very simple and lacks complexity that people usually want, so I'm not sure if I should go ahead and do it. Any thoughts?

your coding certainly isn't garbage.
there's different styles and levels of all types, especially with code shops, i'd say go for it!
I would make one myself but I simply can't handle the pressure of knowing i have to get
hard work done on time. I was actually considering making a premades thread because of
this. anyways, and take on the word usually. as long as your prices are reasonable for what
you are able to do, you really shouldn't have a problem with orders, or customers c:
