I posted some questions a few pages back about features/themes of closed species
and the results were interesting.

Here's basically what everyone said:

- food themed adopts are overused (especially sweet foods such as cake)
- feathers, spacey/galaxy, liquid are overused
- many features that are useless to the species ie. useful would be fins on a fish
- fuffly, foofy and or canine/wolf based species are overdone
- reptile species, humaniod creatures, and multiple eyes are underused
- the whole 'dragon' thing are overused (as in the name - JBDs were the original)
- species that are mashed together are overused ie. cat fish, dog shark etc
- antomony of a species is important - ie a stick thin creature: where do its organs go?
