why do i always take like a month break from coding before i actually get
up and start doing it again. i spent like an hour just on the first part of this
one. i was getting mad @ myself cause i couldn't start with a layout i was
happy with so i left the house for a while, came back and was actually
able to do something w/ it, i'm neutral abt how it came out eh, but i really
wanted to do this theme, cause the song has a few good meanings to me
that and i really like it, despite never being a huge fan of pop music, this
one was always different. so i finally got my ass up and did something w/
it after not coding for y'know a month.

the gif is split, it’s really unique. also el’s pink
dress looks with the cloud image on the right,
which looks really pretty. the font you chose fits
the signature perfectly!! the only thing that
really irks me is how the pink text is a bit brighter
than the images, i think it would work better
if you maybe changed it to look a bit more
pastel? but the rest is stunning!! rad sig

First thing I have to say is that my eyes were immediately drawn to the unique way you cut up your GIF of El... bravo! It's very skillfully and artistically done. I also love that it's all still one GIF; one thing that I tend to find a lot of people do (which I have also fallen victim to) is cutting GIFs and pictures without considering the empty space in between, so they will simply slice a picture and it looks like a person has a super big forehead or something. All in all, I absolutely LOVE how you did your central GIF. That being said, I think the pink text around the edges are a tad bit too bright; on the flip side, going with a more pastel color could blend in too much (which I have also fallen prey to). In this case, I'm not completely sure, but I think going darker could actually benefit you. For one, it shows off El's dark side and her painful history and kind of brings that out. However, it could also totally backfire and look stupid, so hey, maybe not? Either way, it's all about what you like, not what everybody else wants to see. Overall, you have a very skillfully put together signature!

Believe me, I love signatures about video game characters, anime, etc., but I absolutely adore these more human and real signatures. They're the ones that I feel I connect to the most, and they emote wonderfully. The large blocks of gray fill the space very wonderfully while reflecting the minimalist feel of your signature. The flowers all match beautifully and the girl in the GIF ties it all in. The quote itself is beautiful, though I initially had a hard time connecting the text... I originally didn't see the word "fall," but that was probably just me being blind lol. I absolutely love how you incorporated your text boxes and used images rather than actual borders to block off the text. I think my favorite part is honestly that text box in the bottom left-hand corner; it looks very nice and gahh I just really like it. The text box with the dotted lines is also very cool! I've never thought of anything like that, and I love the way you did it. Very well done!

Unfortunately, I'm on my school Macbook, so your signature is broken on my screen... however, I think it still looks very nice! I love the color scheme you chose; the green-yellow color contrasts beautifully against the black the green-yellow color is also in the little aesthetic GIFs, which works beautifully. The quote works very well with the very sketch-like GIFs and I really like the color you used for the words! It looks like a bit of a darker gray that is pretty close to a black, but just the slightest bit lighter so it doesn't blend with the GIFs too bad. And I'm sure if it weren't broken on my screen (RIP), the boxes would look really nice, and the GIFs are so well placed in them... the way everything is positioned is absolutely perfect! Also, I've got the say that the text box in the far right column looks really cool; it's a personal favorite style of mine. I'm not sure if it looks off-center because of my computer, but if you don't like how the top and bottom overlap, you could use transparent characters to move the bottom one over? Just a thought. I really like your signature!

Ahh okay I just have to say that I absolutely love small, minimal signatures when done well, and I would definitely say you hit the mark! It's framed out very well, and the singular GIF is perfect... it's just the right balance of static vs. active in a signature. The black-and-white color scheme works extremely well with this almost primal yet elegant signature. The flowers display the elegancy of the character, yet the skull shows the danger (or so I can assume... I've never actually seen it). The little checkered border looks very nice; I never thought someone would be able to pull it off just because it's such an odd pattern, but I really like how you did it. I think the way you did it so minimally and in such a small way works beautifully, otherwise it would have looked too... 90's, I guess? Anyways, I think your signature looks absolutely beautiful, and I love the way you made the best of your limited space. Great signature!

I like how it's kinda like a puzzle when you're trying to get things to all fit together. My least favorite thing is how the preview looks different than the actual submitted version, I'm constantly forgetting cx

When did you begin making signatures?:

A couple years ago, I guess. I started coding for rps and then I got inspired to do sigs... the hardest part about sigs in particular, for me, is coming up with ideas ^^ because of this I don't make new ones (for me) very often

Tell us a bit about yourself?:

Music is my favorite thing <3 My favorite artist is Paul Simon, and I use his lyrics a lot in my coding. His song dazzling blue is the theme for my shop, and my old sig had some lyrics from boy in the bubble. My shiny new one (just updated today!) has lyrics from Gregory Alan Isakov, another of my favorites. I also watch a lot of tv, particularly parks and rec and brooklyn 99 (rip). And I'm a pretty big hockey fan... it's the playoffs, my team's still around, it's way too stressful cx

I've been following this thread for awhile cause I love to look at your sigs!! I decided to finally post because, as much as I liked my old sig, I'm pretty proud of my new one. The colors are not the most amazingly coordinated because I'm kinda bad at that sort of thing, and it's fairly simple, but overall I just think it turned out pretty well! It made me want to join the conversation a bit <3

@yaku your sig in particular inspired me! I just really like the colors, it's kinda what made me want to change from my old sig.

Hi everyone! I doubt you guys remember me. owo I've been gone for a while
due to the discombobulated homelife, but I'm going to be back a little more
