My English teacher's grammar is fine, but her spelling is BAD. She admits it, though.

But there are narrative poems... I suppose I'd have to see the 'poem' though, but narrative poems are a bit more like stories.

It's stuff like this (Hunger Games fanfiction):

Peeta sings softly in my ear
as I lay secretly dreading the night
Is his love real or fake?
I don't know what to believe
First it's all made up by Haymitch
Then it's all real
As he confesses his love for me in our first interveiw
In this world where slaughter is entertainment
I don't know what to believe

but why am I thinking of such foolishness

Yeah, whenever I hear something about the desert I think about food.... Cookies.... Frozen Yogurt...

I'm pretty sure I've already mentioned this, but I couldn't spell to save my life. D: Spell check is my life saver for typing, but you don't ever want to look at anything I handwrite if you're afraid of badly spelled words. Dx

I also have terrible handwriting. I can't even read it.

No matter what I do, I can't spell perseverance... I get my 's' and 'c' letters mixed up quite often...
I only remember dessert and desert in one way: (A way that I learned way back in elementary school, but it still works :3) The desert is hot, so it can only grow one 's'. Desserts are double good.
Cheesy, yes... but it's how I remember it.
