I have a question; are any daemians here religious?
I know HDM speaks against religion a bit in the books, and I was wondering if Daemons themselves, are unrighteous in certain religions. I'm not religious, so it's never really come up, but I was curious.

What is your favourite daemon form? Or one you really enjoy? (May not necessarily be your comfort/settled form)

Though I think Phinx's comfort (pretty much settled) form is my favourite - an osprey - I used to really enjoy cat, stoat and fox forms. And sometimes hare. I have a pretty strong affinity to bird forms nowadays however, so Sarophinx's Osprey is my favourite.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm Pagan. Solitary eclectic pagan witch, mostly in the Greek pantheon, here!

And do you mean your wondering if some religions are against daemonism? I doubt any Pagans are against it, but I think few people even know about it in the first place to form a religious opinion about it.

Hmmm... my current favorite is probably his black wolf form, just because I know enough about wolf anatomy and have seen enough pictures that it's easy to project. But I also like the gecko form, cause that one seems to fit him the best.

Fun thing, I actually became religious because of those books. I used to be kinda atheistic, kinda protestant, but when I read His Dark Materials, the whole thing about Dust just seemed to make so much sense. So now I'm a naturalistic pantheist ^^

That would be Tos' binturong form. It's been rarer and rarer that he's taken any other form than the binturong.

Name is chisagër, pronounced shi-sar-jerr . Sagë is sar-jay.
