I see nice as "well, here's a suggestion" instead of "no, you're wrong" most of the time.

Them, or perhaps a defensive prey animal. I could most certainly see something that is lower on the food chain with many predators they have to defend themselves against. No to vivs, I think. Not many monogamous ones that are also the same level of defensiveness.

I believe Steve is working on one, and the old one is outdated and terribly literal/lame *gags*. You are going to have to do the research yourself. ;D.

ANDREA IS ALWAYS NICE. OTHERS JUST ARE SENSITIVE IF THEY ARE OFFENDED (unless it's intentional and deserved, and you would know). ANDREA MAKES SENSE (to herself) AND IS HONEST ('ly hungry right now). Yeah, people gave you reasoning >:c. You didn't ask for other options at the time, since we were too busy helping you with something you didn't seem to accept. If we can't move past one stage, how to go to the other? You are getting more help right now then most new people do. Don't take for granted.

- You express your emotions openly; easy to read, you're quite humble and honest. (not always)

- War and violence unsettles you. (not always. only senseless violence.)

- Avoid "rocking the boat" whenever possible. (I like raising hell)

- May have a calming presence about you. (never)

- Fall easily to attacks and insults; defenseless. (NOT defenseless)

- The rest of your family could easily be considered more bold than you. (nope)

- It's likely that you're closer to your mother then you are to your father. (hellz no)

- However, you stick to home until you are confident can fully support youself. (noooo)

- Would prefer a safe, uneventful life as opposed to a dangerous life with many hills and valleys. (bullsh**)

- Prefer an established, safe routine. (no no no no no)

- Has a sensitive palette, you're a picky eater. (no)

- However, your needs are fairly simple. (eff no)

Damn straight. *gansta hand-signal*

Question: Has anyone every read a book/scene a movie with daemon-like constructs in it? I read a book a while back where someone had an imaginary friend kind of thing that reminded me of a daemon, so I was thinking of it. have I asked this before?

Andrea is NOT nice, that's crap. I've SEEN her beat people up with a NOSE. I mean, how do you even DO that?! So much is wrong with that gurl, I can't even begin to describe it. Beware the giant ant-eating nose, it will impale you and steal your soul. :C It almost happened to me once, when I try to steal her favourite tacos (ants & cheese tacos).

In other news, my RA is so painful to finish. And I was all excite about maybe getting one of those "my form is" banners that Zoe makes, but now I can't, since I don't have a form, and until I post a RA and I find my new OTF, I am a thing. A possibly-but-can't-be-sure feathered thing. Hurry up me, and post it already. :C

And I haven't read a daemon-esque book, but the "kudan" in the Tsubasa Chronicle anime/manga series are daemon-like. :D

Like I said, the analysis is old and crappy. Don't even look at it. I'm not saying that I lovelovelove aardwolf for you and I want you to stick to it, but it's innacurate and it burns like hell. It sucks and is wrong on many points, but I must go eat now.

I think a few Stephen King novels include a character talking to a voice within themselves. That sort of counts?

@Prince: I suggest you do not drop your soap anytime soon ;D. Noserape >:C.

This is a pretty obscure/random example Sister Light, Sister Dark by Jane Yolen. it's a decent young adult's book which features the concept of 'dark sisters.' They're not representative of a personality or, like our daemons, incorporeal, but they only exist under certain conditions [at night when the 'light sister' casts a shadow]. They're essentially two people that function as one person, and that always struck me as daemon-y.

I'll be the smart a$$ and say HDM :D But other than that yes, but the voice turned out to be the imprint of a fallen angel.

Familiars in Dungeons and Dragons? I ran a campaign with daemons. It was a royal disaster because the group paladin kept threatening to kill people's daemons to get information. Which counts as an unlawful deed and makes you lose your paladinship which was met with a bitchfit. And the Fighter kept whining that he wanted his daemon to be a wolf when he was the least wolfish person I know.

In fact that guy was the guy who was the inspiration for the whole concept of "Screw You I'm A Wolf Syndrome."

Facepalm.
