Dresses aren't my forte really, I would try but I would rather not right now, though I do have two questions-

When is a Kia's birthdate exactly? Like if you adopted a middle stage Kia, would its birthday be on the day it was made, or the day it was adopted?

Also, is the ball for adult Kias only? Or are teenies/middle stage Kias allowed? If not, will there be like a dance/party/ something for them?

I don't know exactly when, but I know most species have the birthday on the day they were made. I always age my chars by years, not months xD
