exactly! i agree. those were my thoughts exactly. sadly, i have not read the manga.is there that much of a difference? i have started reading it before, but then just left it since i found the contents to be quite the same of the anime. (pft, i only read about three to four chapters when i stopped. look at me... whoo!)
but if there is a difference, which chapter should i start at which marks the difference between the anime and manga? i really do not wish to read over what i have already watched and know. (yes, i am lazy. get over it.) but honestly, i don't like repeating things much. can anyone help me with this? which chapter? >m<?

Yes, there is a great difference. I'll try to find where the anime stopped, but it's been such a long time since I've seen it you may have to remind me what all was in the anime. Did the first season get through the arc with Prince Soma? If it did, how did that arc in the anime end? I think it was around here that things started to get a bit funny...

@Edit: I think I found it. Based on a good bit of googling and flipping through chapters. I think the new stuff starts at Ch. 23 with the Noah Circus arc.

Wow. In terms of anime I really busied myself today. I got through five Kuroko no Basket Episodes. An episode of Kamisama Kiss. Two Soul Eater Not! episodes. I started Blood Lad and Brother's Conflict as well. ouo

aha, yup. i have fortunately found it. you were right, of course. it was around chapter 22 when agni and sebby had the curry contest, and even a little before that, certain details were different from the anime. thanks for the help, really. spoiler---> i feel like they should also make a separate season to continue the anime's season 2 with ciel ending up as a demon. i feel like that would be very interesting. <--- spoiler end. i'm not satisfied ><! but either way, as long as we get another season, i am really not complaining. ... but i really want one with ciel as a demon! ><!!

How do you like Blood Lad? I finished the series on a day I was particularly bored, and I didn't find it too terrible, though I do think it would have been better if the series had been longer.

It's only like... ten or so episodes right? I only saw episode one so I can't draw any conclusions though it does seem to have more than a few similarities to Devil is a Part-timer (which I loved). So it's hard to measure up to. Interesting cast though. I'll get back to you on this when I've watched at least 5 episodes.

Yes. The Soul Eater Not! anime just came out. I was super thrilled when I heard it was going to be an anime and then it aired so quickly after that! ^.^ Very exciting.

Finally someone else who has seen the Devil is a Part-Timer!! I followed the same sequence. I watched Blood Lad after watching Hataraku Maou-sama because the two seemed to be relatively similar. I really wish Hataraku had been longer... it was so good.

I loved it so much. I watched it all while it aired. It was one of my favorites this year! The characters were all so charming with those faces that they all made. It was super hilarious too.

I know. XD It was a perfect mix of humor and the brief moments of awesome action. I'm hoping that people will hurry up and scanlate the manga past where the anime is now. I need to know what happens next!

If you don't like Blood Lad (it's alright but not as good as Hataraku) try looking into Hidan no Aria. I'm watching it now, and the personality of the male character is a bit like Sadao's. He's a clutz who's constantly pushed around by the female, but get him in the right mode and his personality takes a 180 in the calm and cool direction.
