They've said that in the future they're planning on adding second-gen pokemon to the game. :3

And I have also noticed that pokemon are a lot harder to catch/run away more easily. I tried catching a 400 wartortle today and I gave him like 4 razzberries and used my great balls and he still didn't get caught and then ran away.
And the same thing happened with a 600 Gloom.

The newest update reduced catch rates and removed the footprints. I haven't been playing all that much because all of the removals, bugs, and complete silence from Niantic have made the game impossible to play.

I'm in a Team Mystic group on facebook and they posted a link to some news page saying that Pokemon Go fans were getting ticked off at Niantic.

I agree they should give more communication for their fans and probably work on fixing the tracking, but for all we know, it could be a complex issue and they could be having troubles fixing it so for now, are just getting rid of it to ease frustration.

But that's also part of the issue... if that's what's going on, they should probably just tell us that.
That's a little bit dumb about catch rates though. If they're going to do that, then they should make it easier to get pokeballs. Cause right now, seems like a money-grab attempt.

To the list of 1000+ evolutions (that I won't quote because it's rather large lol), I'm not sure. Different Pokemon have different multipliers and cp can be random-ish, so the Pokemon might have 994 instead of the favored 1059 or something. (Example numbers) And there are average cp levels as well, so if it has an average of 1500, it might evolve to be higher or lower than that. But otherwise, it looks accurate enough to be used as a guide for the game. ^w^

To the people who answered to my previous post I was not acting 'I'm better than you' or whatever. It seems Niantic wanted to let out an update so they did, but took out the footprints so they could work on it until the next update. Just saying that people who quit playing just because of that reason are wrong, they could just walk around, ignore the tab, and hope for luck. It makes hatching eggs easier and encountering a strong/rare pokemon much more exciting because you did it all with your goodluck. My intentions were not the hate on anybody so please do not hate on me. : )
