do you prefer to play a specific gender? why or why not?
not really, no. sometimes i lean towards females because i
find it very difficult to get good pictures/fc's/gifs of guys,
especially not overused ones. when i do find a good picture
and make a male character though, i usually enjoy it a lot.
my preference usually depends on the roleplay, but i don't
find it super hard to play one gender or another. something
i don't have much experience with that i sort of want to try
is a homosexual mxm or possibly fxf, because i've never
really tried it (at least with my nicer writing skills than i had
in 2013). i agree with trial and error, though, it's important!
susurri i haven't watched it but i noticed the same thing lol

do you prefer to play a specific gender? why or why not?ahh, i don't really prefer to play a specific gender, but sometimes it's very easy to
choose one or the other, depending on the roleplay or type of character i want
to make for the situation. males are very easy for me to roleplay as, and lately
i have been using a lot more males than females, because it's easier for me to
write it out? i don't know how to explain it too much, but i personally feel it easier
to express emotions and such as a male, while as a female for me i'm not too sure.
saying this, though, doesn't mean i don't roleplay as females, i just try to keep the
balance. a lot of people tend to rush towards the female characters first, so i've
been going for males to even things out, and always have been haha cx
since i've never made a question for this thread before, i wanted to give it a try and ask something c:
- Code: Select all
if you're in a coding block, what do you do to get out of it?

eh, i'd say i have no preference, but then i'd be lying? i almost
always lean towards playing guys. i can totally play girls too
though. it's not like i'm a one gender wonder, ya know? i just
prefer boys. i think they're cooler to design and shape. they're
also pretty hard to find face claims for, but i think that's part
of the fun. idk. (i'm obviously insane, ignore me)
if you're in a coding block, what do you do to get out of it?
music music music music music ayyeeeee.
you see, i base all my coding around music, and i feel like most
of the time, my coding reflects my song choice. so, if i ever get
coding block (which is all the time 'cus i hate my coding ayee)
then i just change the song i'm using?
idk. (again you have more evidence: i'm insane. ignore me)

Usually, I listen to lots and lots of music or I read books. It depends on what I am looking for and my motivation. To be honest, music is what helps the most out of both of those choices. Another thing I try is looking at others coding and trying to see what I can do better.

Yes, I find it easier to use guys because they are more interesting/challenging to write. Even though I am a girl, I like choosing the male gender. I really want to do a mxm role-play but one on one.

oh come on now, don't be all cry-ey
its fun and easy
nah but really, you just have to start messing around with some fonts and brackets and find your niche is all
its a kinda long and certainly frustrating process (believe me we all still get frustrated) but i promise
if you just try you'll find your own style
start with basic bbc code
learn what buttons make things do
and what happens when you layer them together
then add a picture, maybe a font veer image
give yourself often breaks
just take it slow
