I don't know why people are worrying so deeply about inactive members. Surely a new thread isn't suddenly going to mean that they go on a post frenzy on the new thread is it? The one year rule does seem best - but a lot of work, who wants to go rooting through the club to find people's last post?

There's also people who stalk us and don't post because we scare them, and they've applied and been accepted..
I agree with Angel. What's it even matter if there is inactive members on the list? you're going to end up with inactive members no matter what you do...
personally I feel like we're just making it an even more exclusive club, which is only going to end up scaring more people away

Like Smamm said earlier, no. We can't notify. Ere are over 300 members so that would be hard on Smap. <3 plus, we don't have everyone's user, as most people don't fill out the username change form cx.

cause we're all very close seeming, and a lot of people feel awkward with that many people who seem to be really close. they feel like they aren't accepted. And there's people who do post that feel left out...

Rosie made an excellent point. I have people who pm me when I'm looking for a 1x1 and admit they don't post much. ^^

I'm still scared of most of you guys.X3

It's because your intimidating, (not you personally city, but semi-lit+ people in general), you find it everywhere.
Whenever someone sees a longer post, they get scared, especially if it's a long form.
It's like high school (or something along those lines), you're scared of the new place, and of how many people seems so much better than you. To roleplayers, this club would appear to be the 'posh, popular group' to outsiders.
So they get scared since usually a group like that is hard to get into to say the least, as well as being able to so easily make others look like the idiot.
I'm not saying that's my opinion specifically, but that is the general thoughts of what a roleplayer feels when they see this club.
Before you are accepted, it feels like you're a pigeon being compared to a flock of eagles.
Doesn't help that everyone knows each other so well, which puts a time gap between people, and makes people feel scared that they won't be able to fit in or anything.
I'm bad with words, so this probably doesn't make much sense, but it's part of the reason/s why people are scared of us.

Okay, I've missed a lot.

Anyway, I like that one year rule. As mentioned before it would be a lot of work, but I recall SilverSky- mentioning she wouldn't mind helping out. If you want to do it, SilverSky-, then you can! Just let me know?

As for why we're doing this, we're doing it because if a member isn't active, then they're not really a member. It doesn't really NEED to be done, but it will shorten up the members list and give people a better idea of what the member count really should be.

Finally, as for being scary, I'm over this fact. As Talia mentioned, there's pretty much nothing we can do about it but continue to be nice to people who gather the courage to just post a form. ^^
