I have an unhatched Plague Egg but don't know a lot about unhatched eggs. Can someone give me a bit of insight on them? What could come from it if I hatch it? Will it all have basic genes with random colors or is there a chance it could have special genes? I'm pretty lost on this thing and any help or insight would be appreciated! Thank you!

Eggs hatch dragons with basic genes called gen ones. Eggs are kinda hard to find and their pretty valuable if you want to sell them.If you hatch the egg it will give you a gen one plague dragon.

Eggs hatch dragons with basic genes called gen ones. Eggs are kinda hard to find and their pretty valuable if you want to sell them.If you hatch the egg it will give you a gen one plague dragon.

Gen-ones hatched from eggs have completely random colors and eye-types, and they always align with the flight of the unhatched egg (plague eggs hatch plague dragons, wind eggs hatch wind dragons, etc). They will be one of four plentiful breeds; tundra, guardian, fae, or mirrior, and they can be male or female. Their genes will always be basic.

Odds are if you hatch it you get a low value dragon with not matching colors, but if you're lucky you get a nice one that you can gene up or sell for high price. Either way it's a gamble while the eggs always sell for high price (around 250-300g). You can also use it to unlock a den slot.

today is my 4-year anniversary on FR, and to celebrate I finished geneing my progens in time and got a first nest with gened hatchlings!
they got 4 eggs, two I actually liked colour-scheme wise, and one of them was a female tundra with very good colours buuuut I am not a fan of the lineart.
but this guy I lovely, I might give him a tert some day, it's cream and it's very easy to work with!

[ edit: gave him ringlets because I love this gene and he looks amazing with it!
and makes him a bit more special as neither of his parents have it! ]
by far I haven't kept any of my progens' kids, but now that they are gened they actually look nicer. :>
he also has a pretty interesting ID: 51900951
I wish he had gotten unusual eye type though, I love unusual nature eyes! it would've fit really well with him.

Wow! Those are some extraordinarily low numbers for an almost-six-year-old account. Congrats xD
In comparison, I've been on for little over 3 years and I've laid 192 nests, hatched 495 eggs and exalted 258 dragons. That's a crazy difference considering how much longer you've been registered, but it just speaks volumes of different activity levels & play styles.
