I'm looking for two 1x1 partners.
I figure that due to my higher standards I'd do best posting here rather than on the One-on-One Search topic.

• Partner must be willing to post at least once a week. (Unless previous notice.)
• At minimum of 600 words. I'd like around 900 - 1200 though. (My average.)
• Be fine with only playing one character; whichever gender. (I can play both at equal realism.)
• Have knowledge of the topic.
• Be willing to get to know me, and discuss the roleplay in PMs.
• Roleplay must be done via topic/forum.
• Basic forms. (Long forms are my nightmare.)
• Be okay with me not being fancy.
• I know that this is a strict club to get into, but I still feel the need to say: have good grammar and spelling!

Now, the topics at hand, what I am really looking for is one thing:
roleplays based off of video games. (I am the biggest video game geek you'll ever meet.)

Everyone has 'dark' and 'light' in them Usually people are born with a totally equal balance of both
This is a magical RP and all. People who have more of one element then the other, such as more light, are much less stable then those with a balance. Their powers are stronger and generally they run faster, punch harder, etc. But they usually die younger, are prone to bursts of power, and are sickly

Kiro: Setting:
Kiro: An old-ish kingdom, but not quite our universe. There are monsters like you'd see in a fantasy game, and the world is currently being ruled by The Empress. A hundred or two years prior to RP time, the oh-so-cliche dragon threatened to kill, well, everyone.

Smamm: but what about those with more dark?

Kiro: That comes in Smamm. *They have the same advantages as those with more light, although generally they're much less... nice?

Kiro: *People with more light don't get sick as often and a bit more stable then those with more dark, while those with more dark are stronger but less stable, both physically and mentally

Four people, two of whom had entirely dark, two had entirely light (I'll explain how that happens in a sec) managed to banish the dragon to a realm that is pretty much a giant cavern. Unfortunetely, they sealed themselves there too.
Now, the dragon realized 'Oh hey, if I kill them, I get the hell out of here!' So he's constantly trying to kill them. The four though, using all magical song and dance and such -which are tied to spells and sealing and all- can lull said dragon so it falls asleep, before running and hiding again. This constant need to be putting the dragon to sleep weakens those four tremendously, all the time. To say the least, they either die young, or the dragon gets 'em. Sucks.

Kiro: However, the Empress of that time realized 'oh ---- when they die, the dragon is coming back here!' So she rounded up four more only darks and only lights, and -no one knows how she does this- sent 'em off to the dragon's realm to replace the first four, who died shortly afterwards.

Smamm: dats ebil ono

Kiro: This batch isn't so willing, but eh, there's no way out. When they die, they get replaced, and so on
Kiro: And now I should explain how people get only light, or only dark, because it's important. Except for the occasional rare set of twins(where one twin gets all their dark, the other light), no one is ever born with just one. However, sometimes lovers or close friends accidentally, or on purpose as it's considered a sort of ultimate bond, 'share' their elements. All of one person's light goes to the other, and they get all the dark.

Kiro: So, to say the least, everyone who was sent in who had only dark or only light had a lover, extremely close friend, or twin.
On about the oh, thirty-fifth batch of four, things lined up a bit. The lover/friend/twin whatever of each one decided that they hated the cycle, and they would prefer to unleash the dragon on the empire and save their loved ones then let them die. So naturally, the world is against them, cause if they succeed a freaking dragon will attack the kingdom.

Kiro: Having only light or only dark, the four trying to rescue their loved ones are a lot stronger then your average person. However, the more the use this strength, the more they drain themselves. Meaning using their powers is taking time off their lives. AND it drains the person they 'shared' their elements with. And vice versa.
So every time, say, a girl uses her powers to lull the dragon, her twin brother trying to save her weakens too. So they are really on a timer.

Kiro: This RP would have the set of four surrendered to the dragon, and their potential rescuers as characters to be RPed. The dragon would be for someone to RP, as well as a few miscellaneus parts -a person who guards the gate between realms, a traitor to the empire who also hates the cycle, etc- 20:51
Kiro: For the fun of it, I might make it two dragons so two people can RP dragons. 8D
