pokemon snap looks suuuper pretty and i think i would really enjoy it , but its the same price as a main series game ??? i dont have any nostalgic connection to the original snap so maybe thats why i dont really see why it would cost that much lol , i think im gonna wait until some reviews are out or if it goes on sale after a few months

Agreed, I’d have spent maybe 20-30 on it but at 60 I’ll just save my money. I have my eye on quite a few games coming out this year that look more fun, including monster hunter stories 2. Not that I don’t like snap but I don’t see myself getting THAT much gameplay out of it. I don’t even think I owned the original. Pretty sure I just rented it as a kid and played it for a weekend before getting bored.

I’ve also heard a few rumors of sinnoh remakes coming out this year. Supposedly the rumor came from something about them accidentally putting out a website domain too early and having to block access? After being incredibly disappointed in SWSH though my hype level is pretty much zero. On the other hand I haven’t been disappointed by a remake yet so hopefully I’m pleasantly surprised. (Mind you it’s just a rumor, so not confirmed. Though everyone knows it’s coming “eventually”, it’s just a matter of when.

ive heard a lot about remakes being announced at the end of february whenever the pokemon anniversary date is , and theyll probably be released at the end of the year in november as usual ! im actually a bit excited about dp remakes lol , im hoping with the no main series game released last fall they spent a lot more time on this and hopefully improved some of the graphics

also ive been seeing a ton of pokemon unite leaks lately (this seems to be the most popular one atm) and i still feel like im the only one looking forward to this game loool theres definitely a lot to be improved upon based on the leak (especially something to prevent a team getting trapped at spawn seen towards the end of the video , also a lot of the comments mentioning the last skill being released way too late to be used due to the time limit of the match) but ill still be giving it a shot whenever its released. none of my money is gonna be given to tencent tho :\\

Hopefully they do it justice, original gen 4 is one of my favorites. I’ve really liked all the remakes so far, though I’d say omega ruby/alpha sapphire was a smidge of a step down from HG/SS. Seriously it had Pokémon following you, pokewalker, battle frontier, poke Athlon, and added in crystal’s side story. It was great for people who love treating their Pokémon as pets (which I do lol)

I just want them to take their time on the new remakes, although its highly unlikely that they will based on previous games. DPP are my favorite games and they hold a very special place in my heart, so I'm going to get them no matter what.

Anyway, I just finished an emerald run with my six favorite pokemon from the Hoenn regional dex: swablu, seviper, ralts, milotic, ninetales, and corsola. Super fun run, but MAN milotic was a PAIN. it completely carried my team though, and swept the elite four at level 75.

Which gym battle and what are you having trouble with? What does your team look like?

If you're stuck because your Pokemon simply aren't strong enough, you'll have to grind some more to level them up. If you don't have any Pokemon or at least attacks that are super effective against the gym's type, look for some. If you do, focus on leveling up those Pokemon so they can carry the battle. Make sure you have plenty of healing items, and as a last resort, you can try spamming revives and/or potions until your opponent runs out of PP for whichever attack is giving you touble.

The third gen Pokemon Fit plush came out a few days ago in Japan and is slowly being released on the US Pokecen site <3<3<3 If you don't know what that is: basically it's a plush line where every single Pokemon for each generation gets made into a plush...yes including Qwilfish and Silcoon. I've been waiting for the third gen to come out so we can finally get into my favorite gens--my wallet isn't going to make it through the fourth gen, I have so many favorites from Sinnoh!

But yes I'm hoping I can buy a few from the first 3 gens since I don't actually have any yet (I partially blame the fact that Togepi hasn't been in stock). Does anyone else have any or is buying any?
