i'm not trying to say he's corporeal!!! it's just that i kind of 'feel' project... well it doesn't make sense to say it that way... aah, i hope i wasn't to confusing!!
I get exactly what you mean, Phinx has is 'certain spot' and I often feel him there when I can't see him.

Do you guys talk to your daemons, or do you just project them? Do they talk back to you, or do they make animal noises?
Usually I only do one of the things at a time, but it depends on the situation. If I try to project Tos, I always know where he is and what he's doing, but it's not something I do all the time. And whenever he talks to me, he has a very distinct voice, a lot more mature than my own. He sounds like he's in his early twenties even though I'm a couple of years younger than that. He rarely comes with snarky comments, he usually just answers when I ask him about something.

I've gotten so used to projecting Shay that I barely notice doing it at this stage. He's been a pine marten for about three years now though so the steady form helps. Also the fact that he likes to sit upon my head and if he's not there he's usually on my shoulder.
I speak to him (argue with) all the time though, I guess when you've had them around so long it's like a reflex almost. Some days I project him less that others though.

I can almost always see/feel Altair! Like now, I can feel him beside me as an Ermine. Watching me type this. Altair is usually either by my feet as a Fennec fox (his main form), wriggling and jumping about as an Ermine or sitting on my right shoulder as a Songbird. (At school I also like to imagine others around me-not only my friends-have daemons too. Like they do in Lyra's world).
God I sound like a weirdo!!
But um yeah.....I know what you mean yukine chris, I know what you mean.

Would you say that you are overall happy with your daemons form/s? Why or why not?
I am certainly happy with the forms Erastos have chosen. However, it's nagging me that I found the binturong form so easily. I only had to read a couple of analyses before I knew that the binturong fit me perfectly, while others have had to search for theirs for a long time, sometimes even years! We're both happy with his main form, and I think we're stable, even though I'll wait a couple of years before I claim to be settled. (He's telling me to tell you about is comfort forms, despite having told you in a previous post). At them moment, his main comfort forms are a Welsh Mountain Pony, a small western dragon, and a hairy-legged vampire bat. He has chosen these forms after we read about them on TDF and thought they fitted, though not completely. Lately he has also been trying out a dalmation and a sugar-glider, even though they don't fit us at all.

I'm pretty much constantly talking to Kar. Normally I don't even notice I'm doing it - it's kind of weird, because I haven't actually been into daemonism for that long in the scheme of things, but good too. We talk in mostly in words (since Kar isn't actually an animal, he just takes the form of one, he doesn't really make animal noises or whatever), though sometimes our conversations descend into something that's more just emotions and vague things like that. Don't ask how that works. As for projecting... we don't do that as often, but some days it'll just end up happening without me putting much thought into it. Though it isn't really as important to us as talking. Speak for yourself, you're not the one stuck in some formless mind space all the time. Uhh. *shrugs*

Yes! We love his stable form. Scottish wildcats are so... just amazing, and they fit really well, and I find it pretty easy to project too. I hope we never have to change forms. I doubt we will. It just fits too well. :D

O///O Hiya
its my first time posting here and uhhh I have no idea what to type
okay so ive been a daemon for ... just under a year ... I think
and me and my daemon are pretty much stable
Camarillyn (or Cam less formally) is my little baby
Our comfort form is a Red fox
though I've been finding that we've been avoiding that form more and more recently
instead opting for our second favourite the Snowshoe hare
generally at school he likes to take the form of a sacred kingfisher though
I think because its a more compact form ...
I don't know what else to say
*clings to 42♥*
