Kraken VS Octo-Kun wrote:Just a question, if you were playing a Pokemon game where you play as a Rocket Grunt, would you expect to be healed at Pokemon Centers or a Team Rocket secret base? I'm playing a hack right now, and they let you heal at Pokemon Centers. Although one boy in the Mt. Moon Pokemon Center says we should count ourselves lucky for something or else we'd be kicked out.
For your question, is it for the segment in HGSS where you're undercover or for a hack? Because hacked game discussion isn't allowed.

Why are all the sets in the battle agency so weird like
I’ll be like “o look a serperior contrary is a good ability”
And then I’m not even kidding you, this is the set
Modest w/ choice specs
Leaf storm
That’s it. No other moves. Just modest with choice specs. And overgrow ability.
Like what do you do with that

I would expect Toys R Us to do more promos since they've done plenty with Nintendo in the past but considering they declared bankruptcy and made the awful move to ask the court to give 16 million to their execs, probably not gonna happen.
True but I would like to see further progression like the maybe using the old Nintendo Zones for it at McDonalds or partnering up with Amazon 'Buy this merch, get a code for this pokemon.' Or heck, what about promo code cards to the LGSs that carry their paper products? It just seems like the events in Japan are actually thought out (and often!) while the rest of the world isn't nearly as well cared for.
In the end I will keep going, there have been a ton of Wonderfakes recently although it looks like they cleaned up the GTS. Did they finally make mythics untradeable period or actually just get around to banning the folks that were removing their ribbons? Color me surprised either way.
Currently collecting PPS dogs.Music makes you braver.

The TCG kinda does promo codes but it's only for their online TCG game. At this point Amazon or codes on physical merch seems like a decent idea. And I want to say at some point they did codes for the Pokemon Trainer Club?
Pokemon in the US doesn't even come close to Pokemon in Japan. It's absolutely nuts what gets branded with Pokemon and how huge it really is. Osaka just named Pikachu one of their ambassadors and while I was abroad, the shinkansen was covered in Pokemon from front to back. If I got stuck in a conversation with someone I didn't know, Pokemon was a super safe topic to go to. Japan gets the most care since it's a Japanese company and it's a cultural phenomena.

If Nintendo made a spin-off where you play as a villainous team grunt, what team would you like to see?I'm partial to Team Rocket, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't want to play as a Team Galactic or B2/W2 Team Plasma Grunt
