Guys I have a serious question for you all. Would any of you, if ever given the chance, make a character that's terminally ill? Like, with cancer - varying forms; tumours (malignent or benign), leukemia, etc.? And would any of you sort of freak out if one of them suddenly appeared in a RP?

I, personally, wouldn't be able to play them, I don't think. My brother has it... And my emotional self is so emotional so. xD I don't know if I would freak if someone joined with at. It would depend on how much it was a part of the role play, I think. I don't know .-. If it was like, life threatening to the character, it would be quitting time for me,.

I have one with cancer ^^ makes me sad to play him, but I don't often. He also only has one leg, but that's beside the point

See, it's because my brother had it that it interested me to ask whether people would do it. Like you, it would be quitting time for me if it became serious. Though for me, if I was to create a character it would be after treatment etc.

Terminally Ill Characters: I have a character that knows when she's going to die (in three to four years), part of her seer powers. It's messed up her personality a bit. I wouldn't panic if one showed up in a RP, but it could be uncomfortable for the more light-hearted RPs. The other problem with a character like that is the difficulty in writing them properly. Unless you've been through that, how can you really picture it accurately? It would be very difficult.

Okay, so is there anyone here who could help me with a new character? He's a native French speaker, and I do not know French. At all. I'd like to occasionally have him slip into French when he's not paying attention, but I don't want to burn French-speaking people's eyes with Google translate. (Mercy, do you speak French? I seem to remember that. :S)

Also, after Simulacrum gets off the ground and everyone's finished their forms (Light, Wolfie, City! This means yoooou), I may make the Avengers RP, if there's still a bit of interest. >->

Roleplay sample: I haven't really roleplayed much, so I'm not sure what you mean by Intro

Kade lay motionless in the shallow ditch, heart hammering against his frail rib-cage. Aches and pains ran along every part of his body as he tried to shift. Grunting, he managed to hoist himself up into a clumpsy sitting position and peer over the tip of the ditch. Gravel, weeds, dirt... Nothing of interest. No lights from oncoming cars. He lay back down, lacking the strength to keep himself upright. His mind slipping away from conciousness and reality... A crunch of gravel sent a jolt of fear into him, the sound coming from only afew steps away. Coughing slightly as he tried to see what was just behind him, he whimpered softly. Another crunch, his panic dissolving as he realised the most likely senario...
Lightness touched his barely beating heart, the footsteps now beside him. After years of running, the hope that he would be finished for good brought a smile to his bloody, swollen lips. He let out one last breath, and the shadow scene around him faded into pure darkness.

I can do first person - present tense and etc.
