echoclan has experienced plenty of deaths, 16 in total. the first death was mottledkit, the only tom in squirrelstar's second litter.
the first medicine cat of echoclan, dapplewing, took the death really hard since he felt like there was something he could do to save the little kit, but in reality there was nothing he could do.

mollies. i get so many cats that I find too pretty to be toms, plus it's easier to make up names for mollies than toms

echoclan can be a mixture of both, depending on what situation they are put into. they are very nosy and friendly though

Clayclan has not, but Beechclan sure has! Eight deaths in total and none of them of natural causes. Well, I suppose technically almost all of Beechclan is dead now? Not many of those deaths were natural either. The first death Beechclan experienced was of Yarrowkit, who died in a semi-planned fox attack. Skunkbrush handled it as well as a mature medicine cat can, but Asptail (then Asppaw) was distraught. He blamed himself greatly because he was off with Cinderblaze instead of caring for his clan, which would eventually become a pattern which shaped his career.

Beechclan was a perfectly even split overall but Clayclan currently has more she-cats (though admittedly just by one).

Clayclan is home to one medicine cat. Beechclan had three over it's span but only ever two at a time.

I have a few references to comic book characters in Clayclan's family trees actually. Taffytuft's parents are named Luornu and Chuck after Triad/Triplicate Girl and Bouncing Boy from the Legion of Superheroes. Fogpaw's parents are sort of taken from Slade and his siblings are named Rose and Jericho. Crocusgaze's mother Leaf (who I'm just now realizing shares the name of Mottledpaw's father which needs to be changed) was inspired by the Norse Leif since Crocusgaze's family of rouges were basically cat vikings.

Crocusgaze calls cataracts fog-eye and differentiates between the seasons by things like the Cold Times and the Bud Times. Gustpond referred to spring as the Growth-times. Taffytuft uses human terms for everything.

Clayclan is certainly brash, though in a friendly and good natured way. Beechclan on the other paw had a bold front to hide a sly nature.

Oof, the first one was Ternpaw and he was killed by Snailstep; the medicine cat couldn't do anything!
He still felt very sad but Stonenose knew that he was not responsible for Ternpaw's death, he'd died long before the healer saw him.

I try to keep an equal balance but at the moment I have more mollies; I also have more high-ranked mollies than high-ranked toms.

Well, obviously my favourite leader is Fritillarystar! And for deputy, I do like Snailstep but I prefer Dawnpool, she was deputy for a while. For medicine cats, I love Smallwhisker! I love her sarcastic attitude. With warriors it's a bit hard since I love them all for very different reasons but I'll say it was Nightclaw, who is sadly dead now. My favourite apprentice is hands down Goosepaw, I relate to her anxiety on a personal level! And my favourite kitten is Stormkit, I have the most interesting ideas for him!

No, not really! I'm not very creative when it comes to my names! Although they tend to call medicine cats healers.

It's fairly equal, but animals have a majority there. I actually have a load of demographics charts for my clan, including this as one factor. My two largest uses are for "general plants" and "birds". Flowers and mammals are equal, and fish and insects are also pretty low.
If you include nature names generally... my pedanticness mandates I state that everything is natural and that therefore the universal set has to have a majority. But hey-ho, I know what you meant. They still have a majority.

Yes. She has 4 - Ploverstripe, Cicelynose, Shellcloud and Droseratail. One of her kits is dead.

Kind of? I use English terms for seasons, humans, bridges, etc. in all but my most traditionally-minded cats. I felt like it didn't really make sense to have a separate term for those things unless there was something else using up the English term,
so I just went ahead and made that happen.
They also think watersports- participants are selkies (haven't used that term).

My clan has experienced a ton of deaths! In this order, Dawnstorm and Grayfur due to injuries after a badger attack, Acornstream and Bramblebush due to infection from the same attack, Crowcloud, Egretstep, and Fleckstorm from a fire, Alderclaw and Falconflower due to drowning, Bleakkit, Sorrelkit, and Briarwhisker's stillborn son due to weakness from birth, and Smokefur from illness. I'm also planning a bunch more soon, so look out!

At the time of the first four deaths, there were two medicine cats: Crowcloud and then-Dustpaw (now Dustleaf). Crowcloud took Dawnstorm's death hard, as Dawnstorm was the third warrior to join the clan and most the clan had no idea what life was like without him, especially his mate, Snowfoot. Then-Dustpaw took the death of her father, Acornstream, from illness extremely hard as her family was the first to have a family member died. Dustleaf has always felt guilty that she couldn't save her father from illness and her mentor, Crowcloud, from the fire but has slowly learned to accept that there are some deaths she can't prevent.

I currently have about 27 living males and 21 living females (may not be exact). I don't mind this because I already have plans for all the cats who I will be pairing up and I'm going to be killing off a few more characters so it doesn't matter too much.
