Oh! I would join the University of Oregon roleplay, eh maybe minus the Werewolves thing, it is pretty over-used. Why not have a normal, RP, you could make it invite only and ask some of the better Role Players here. I need to search for a one-on-one later, but it is late and I have school tomorrow. If you invite to good players we won't end up with a bunch of "Oh EM GEE cn wy wolf fll in lve with teh vampeh?" People.

The rp is not going to do real well unless you use one of the common cliches. You have to go with what is popular in order for an rp to be successful in my opinion.

@werewolves:...What? o.o I'd MUCH join an original RP than a cliche one. xD My newest RP is getting a lot of members, and I haven't seen any others like it. (I'm not trying to brag, just using it as an example. xD)

No that proves that what is wrong with every single forum roleplay website out there i would defently join an rp with out cliche if it was interesting enough and had an excellent plot line. Although i suck at rping normal rps with out cliches.

The rp is not going to do real well unless you use one of the common cliches. You have to go with what is popular in order for an rp to be successful in my opinion.

Common Cliche rps are exactly the ones I avoid joining, because they are usually sooo boring. Because when you have a cliche plot, everything all the characters do is very predictable, and there's hardly any space for crazy and interesting twists or obstacles that make an rp exciting. I usually rp animals, and when every wild horse rp turns into a horse roundup, I get bored an leave.

It just takes getting used to, I haven't RPed a human for a few months, but you can get in practice. The subject of animal RPs, it is kind of broad. People say 'I don't do wolf RPs' based on the majority, but you have a few great ones that sort of sit there. Once you get a little RP group it is easier. Teshin, also known as "The Awesome Person" is a roleplayer that I always seen around RP's I like or I made.

I really wanted to make a fighting tournament RP, but I just can't be bothered doing everything. ;o;
And CS isn't really the place to have it.

You could judge it on spelling, grammar, length of post, creativity and originality of character! The RP that they have to post in could be a fighting RP, something that's out of the norm. It's not romance or vampires and it would really test an RPer, having to describe different types of fighting techniques. I mean, you could make this a huge thing. Like, contact Tess and see if we could get this tournament featured on the homepage to bring more people to it, set up a topic in CS Chat and have all the constetants stats there and people could discuss latest postings and whot hey think is going to win. You could have Priliminary rounds, to weed out all the sub-par RPers from the excellent RPers. xD

I am so excited about this idea! O;

And CS RP community is far to small to support it. Dx

Oooh I like the idea of a fight club. And what Bliss said the charactors being bait for werewolves.

@muggafinn; I want the charactors to be humans, but I don't want the rp just to be people going to UO. Then people really wouldn't know what to do. It would get a little bore in my eyes.

As I think over it, I'm starting to really like the idea of a fight club. But like you said brute, would it be okay for CS? I get how this a everyage site, but it soemtimes ruins my plot ideas. And then people sya make your own site, but then those thigns don't really go well Xp

It should be fine, as long as it doesn't get too violent. There's nothing in the rules against RP fighting, just nothing too gorey or bloody. x3

Let's have some young, energetic RPer do it! That would be a great idea, but who would supply the prize? You are right though, you may have to mellow it down some how. Who would be judge as well? We should find a well-rounded role player to do that, maybe even a few judges. It would be awesome, like a tournament style game. We should make the topic now.
