I seriously loved reading all your opinions! I'm not as good as writing out all my thoughts but I can say I agree with a lot of yours. My favourites are Denmark, Ukraine, Estonia, Belarus and Germany!

Hello guys!!
Glad to hear other people liked Croatia (Even though I didn't like it that much)! Since it's my country and all!
But nothing will top the last year's Croatian entry.
Nothing.
In terms of.. Being absolutely hilarious.

Anyways, the reason I'm here.
Is.
Hungary.
My god.

I was in awe when it started playing.
Since, like an idiot, I didn't hear the songs before everything started happening, ahah. Next year, tho!!

I thought they'd play some soft rock, or something. And then when I realized what was happening,
I hoped he wouldn't scream, and he did! (':
And then, I doubted they'd get through, because this is uh.. Eurovision after all, ahah.
And well, they did!! <3 (And the singer's reaction to finding it out was hilarious!!)
Now, I bet they'll end up on the last place. (((':

I just love, love, love their song. It sounds like something I'd listen to normally. Will definitely check the band out. <3
I'm so glad that a song such as this was on Eurovision. So, so glad. <3

But let me take a step back, and talk about other songs I liked from today (uh..yesterday?)! First, the ones that got through.

Moldova!!
That performance was genius!! Super, super fun!
Honestly, I don't like the song as much as the performance, but man, I think this has to be my favorite
performance on Eurovision up to date!
The timing, their expressions, and everything. Brilliant!!

Slovenia!!
First, I adore, adore her hair. <3
Second, her voice is amazing.. And damn, she's sassy!
And finally, the song! So energetic! I loved, loved it! I just want to dance to it, ahah!

Serbia!
The song was beautiful! All of them have such great voices, and I'm super glad they sang on serbian. And one word.
Ethnic.
..Oh! Also, the curly man!! Loved him. He's quite the character!

Ukraine!!
Vampires! And stairs on fire... Or is it fire on stairs. Hmmm?
...I liked that song! Not my favorite favorite, but was still fun!

Now, the ones that didn't get through!

Georgia!
I don't know why, but I liked it, for some reason!
I guess one word again.
Ethnic.

Poland!
Ahh man.
While they were telling the results, I was chanting "Poland". ((':
And boyy..My reaction when I found out Hungary got in, but Poland didn't ahahah! For a split second,
I was like "Hungary? Who's th-Oh.. Oh no.".. Since I know, I know they'll end up on the last place in the finals.
And I don't want to witness that. ((':
But I am super excited to see them again.

ANYWAYS.

Poland. Yes.

They were my favorite tonight, with uh... Hungary.

I mean, it's Jared Leto!! And a DJ man that can do waves with his arms, I mean how didn't they get through?!
Joking, joking.
I just adore, adore electronic songs on Eurovision. (They're my favorite Eurovision genre C:)
And they're always full of energy, and are so happy. And it's just so exciting to see it all.
And I loved this one. Super sad it didn't get through.
But hey. I now know it exists.
And now I can listen to it.

Now, let me go back again, to mention some other songs..

Norway!! Boy oh boy, Alexander Rybak!! Our fairytale boy is now a man.
And now he's doing these instructional videos, on how to write songs, and stuff..
Anyways, enough joking! (it's like 4 am, and I'm feeling like fainting, I'm so sorry)
It was an okay song, but not really my type. Loved seeing him again, tho!

Denmark!
Vikings! It was a powerful song, with nice vocals, but again, not really my type of song!
...I also kept getting flashbacks from 2008. Latvia.Wolves Of The Sea.

Russia!
It was really lovely, and emotional!
I might be wrong, but wasn't there some problems with Russia? Something that they might not perform at all?.. Or was that last year?
I have a horrible memory, so I apologize!

From the first night, my favorites were Albania (Loved whatever he was wearing. Looked super cool), Czech Republic, Lithuania (She is the sweetest thing, and needs to be protected), Israel, Bulgaria and Cyprus!!
The country I'm super sad that didn't get through from the first night is Switzerland... Oh well.

I thought that semi final 2 (last night) was one of the worst semi final ever!

I do though have an uncommon taste I think. Or is there anyone else who cant stand those "favourites"? Toy is one of the most annoying songs I've heared lately... And the Czech Republik followed close... Cyprus is not that bad, but still not what I like. So probably not my year?

There are some awesome songs though! I loved the Netherlands, Sweden and most of all, Denmark! Oh I love this song <3 Also liked Malta and somehow Ukraine aswell. And of course from the first semi final Bulgaria, Switzerland and Croatia. And Austria, but thats probably because Im proud we made it to the finals xD

The jury votes were so incredibly ridiculous. If anyone is interested in the data let me know but I've looked at the statistics over the years to find out that the juries are basically 100% anti Eastern Europe for no particular reason, whereas those countries put the most effort into the contest usually (them + Sweden xD). With their favourites-to-hate (Turkey, Russia and Poland) not available their new victim was Ukraine.

Poor Mélovin, even if it wasn't your style you have to admit this wasn't worth last place in the jury vote. He performed so well and he wrote the music himself! He was my favourite of the night.
My top 4 was:
Ukraine
Moldova
Germany
Denmark

I say top 4 instead of top 5 because other than the jury drama.. MAN was this a good year! Picking anything as number 5 would make me feel like I was cheating a ton of stuff. So let's leave number 5 as a wildcard.
Glad the televoting winner won again this year, I'm sick and tired of these juries tbh. Well done Netta!

Personally my heart hurts the most for Portugal. I thought her voice was really nice, her singing spot on and the song was very good. There's no way they deserved the last place in the final.

Other countries that I genuinely thought would get higher scores:
Finland
Slovenia, I thought her singing was spot on and singing + dancing is hard   ??
Hungary
Serbia?? I thought theyd make top 5??
Lithuania too??
oof Denmark deserved top 5. deserved.
Estonia, I actually thought they could be close to a tie with Israel. I've never heard Estonias singer sound even slightly offtune like shes actually perfect at what she does.

As for countries I never thought would get as high near the top as they did:
Cyprus, I honestly dont think it was that special
Same with Austria, eh
Ok germany I love you and all but I never actually expected you to do this well but I'm also proud of u
Italy?? I thought theyd be near the bottom honestly

That all being said, I was cheering for Netta ever since I first heard her song so I'm so happy with the top1 result and I'm so happy for her. Didn't she say shes never been on a stage even close to that huge? Heck this will do wonders for her career and I'm so excited to see and hear more of her.
