I'd buy cosplays more often If I knew some affordable ways to care for long wigs! It's such a pain buying a nice quality wig and then having to throw it out after one year of use!

I've found the best way to keep a long wig from getting ruined is to braid it between uses!

Baaah just spent all day last minute fixing up my Fem!Lithuania cosplay since I lost a ton of weight (Hooray, my mum no longer thinks I'm "Fat" or "getting a bit chubby" !) since there is a convention I'm attending this weekend! Sadly can't attend the Saturday, but I will be doing Dead!Marco and my friend is doing Jean, my other friend is doing Sasha, and the final member of our cosplay group is being Eren. The Saturday my 'Jean' friend is doing Dead!Petra, my Eren friend is doing Blaire (sp?) from RWBY, and Sasha friend is doing Hanji! On the Sunday I'm doing Fem!Lithuania, my Jean friend is doing Belarus, my Sasha friend is doing Ukraine, and my Eren friend is doing Prussia. I'll get lots of photos for you guys!

Also, my cosplay group has made ourselves 'official' we're still trying to get up and running, but we're on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr as 'sisterssinistercosplay'. The only one we really update is Instgram and Facebook though, if you wanna check out some of our cosplay stuff.

im doing a group Welcome to Night Vale cosplay- anyone have advice on making a glowcloud prop?

edit- a plastic container, a crapload of christmas lights, and a bunch of polyfiber later, and ive got a clowcloud ^-^ pics to come

@Siren, thanks so much for helping me out with those cosplay suggestions and the help concerning the jacket! (I really like the idea of Rise from Persona 4!)
I do have a question, it might sounds stupid ^^", are you still able to wash your jacket after you've hot glued the new fabric over the original jacket?

and omg! So excited and happy for you about what happened at the Symphony of the Goddess concert! ^^

Just make sure you don't put in the dryer and you'll be okay (mostly from shrinking concerns - if it shrinks it'll look weird with the hot glued pieces)
