The International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy (also known as International Statute of Secrecy) is a law in the wizarding world that was first signed in 1689, then established officially in 1692. The law was laid down by the International Confederation of Wizards to safeguard the wizarding community from Muggles and hide its presence from the world at large.

@hanamadol I would like to think that as well. I mean there was also the beauxbatons academy and Durmstrange academy. But i always wonder, why wouldn't the other schools, like the american one, have been apart of the triwizard tournament? YES i understand TRIwizard. But, why. did it have to be TRI? Food for thought

If you have a Harry Potter ship or ships.. Which Harry Potter ship was the first (the first ship you started shipping) and what made you ship it? Was it thanks to a fanfiction(s), scenes in the books, scenes in the movies, or did a friend share the ship you?

Goat' wrote:So I wanted to say this before I forgot.. How was harry (or james) a great seeker? If you think about it, a seeker has to have AMAZING eyesight(according to what i get from the books) to be able to see the snitch. But....and i quote from one of the greatest witches of all timeHermione Granger wrote: Harry, your eyesight is really awful.
So.. how is it harry can see a snitch even through a storm... But Oliver Wood couldn't even see it through practice? Harry could even see it sitting in the stands when he wad banned from quidditch in HBP...
