Oh man, I'd be incredibly interested in some Nukitta RP. I know I did some babbling about RPing a while ago, but as per usual, real life reared its ugly head and I had to take small (unannounced) internet hiatus to get my act back together. That being said, I have some free time now and would absolutely love to toss one or both of my girls into absolutely whatever situation arises!
Personally, I think free-form RPs can be interesting - let the plot develop on its own, see what the players can come up with. Maybe a little bit of a direction to go in at first, some simple or very broad-level plot just to get the party started? I love the idea of an event poll as a way to spur up some drama and push the story along. Semi-lit might be a more accessible limit for players who either don't tend to write as much or (as in my case) are strapped for time, though chances are I'll still be bogging down the RP with miles and miles of text because I have no self-control XD
I think it would be fun to have each introduced plot element to be just a little more hard-hitting than the last. For example, just working with your ideas, >Karida<:
1. You come across a meadow where a few nukitta are grazing peacefully. Join or watch from a distance?
2. Looks like weather's moving in. Time to find shelter with your new acquaintances!
3. A small rainstorm turns into a downpour that lasts several days. The ground beneath your hooves is very soft and super-saturated with water, and you're forced to stick with this group of nukitta in a small area for fear of foundering.
4. Landslide! It's as though a large portion of the mountain has shifted all the way to the valley below.
5. Landslide aftermath; the human village in the valley below is in peril and needs new nukitta to help remove boulders and plow ruined fields. They capture and begin training several nukitta (being caught is totally up to the player, of course).
6. Do you become tame under a patient human's hand, or do you refuse the bit and attempt escape whenever you find the opportunity? If so, how?
Things don't have to go that way at all, I just like to stack my drama into even bigger piles of drama XP It doesn't allow a lot of room for latecomers, though, so maybe more than one plot can be going on at once? Oh, but that sounds confusing...

I'll just conclude by saying I am absolutely down for whatever ends up happening, I'm just really excited to have time to RP again ;3;
