    Sorry to everyone I have yet to reply to- rp and message wise- I just have been having this severe lack of muse. Like, Sahara desert lacking water kind of deprivation. And it sucks. Mainly because I never seem to get writers block- my muse is always there to kindly punch me in the face, especially at the most inopportune moments.
    Does anyone have any tips on how to get out of this rut? ;n;
I lurk mostly. they/no pronouns.

    Neon, aw man, that sucks.
    but take your time with our roleplay, there's really no rush. c:
    maybe try reading a book or listening to some music??
    that sometimes can be helpful.

I'm just wondering...
Are the characters just representing the fandoms? (like how you've said with personality and such)
Or do they get like a power or two from that fandom? (like for hp they carry a wand and can do some magic)
Just curious because you haven't really said what limits there are to that.

they are simply characters representing the fandom. good question though c;

Thanks.^.^
And um...Wondering about just one other thing...
Do they think they're IN their respective fandom (like actually in the show or book or whatever)?
Or are they big fans of the fandom they each represent and wish they were in it and happen to have personalities to do with each?
Or do they have no idea the fandoms exist yet happen to each represent a fandom?
Or are they aware of the fandoms, but don't make the connection/make the connection?
Or what?

I mean are they aware of the fandom as well as represent it?
Or is it more of a complex relationship than that?
Sorry for the questions, I just...Yeah...Just wanted to clarify these two things because I got slightly confused on them. I over-think things.

i'm sure a lot of others have these questions too, so thanks. c;
your character is not necessarily part of the show's fandom. instead, their personalities revolve around the theme of the fandom.
take a well-known example, doctor who. the character might be obsessed with astronomy and physics. they could clash with other fandoms based on that.
uhm, well, actually it doesn't matter all that much whether the fandom depends on personality or just relations. uhm. yeah.

      I was just in this situation a few hours ago.
      Go ahead, watch a movie or listen to your favorite music. Who knows? It could be enough to give you muse.

Oooh, new thread. o: Not like I was the least bit active on the old one. Hoping to remedy that this time around.

      Form
      Username: OrangeNeom
      Favorite type of RP: Sci-Fi
      Roleplay sample:
      Thump. Thump. Thump. The forest rang with the sound of my feet hitting the soil beneath my feet. Nothing else was heard. Silence filled my ears with a constant drone. I couldn't get away from it. Every direction I could go was filled with it. Why did Hunter ask me to meet him here?
      A terror-filled scream from behind me made me whip around. "What was that?" I muttered under my breath. The scream had sounded like it belonged to a teenage girl. More than likely, she went to my school. That meant I probably knew her and had to help.
      I turned in every possible direction. I hadn't been paying attention when I heard the scream. Now I didn't know where to go. Taking a deep breath to calm myself, I started to think. This had to be a prank. It had to be. The last crime in Bakerstown had been ten years ago. We'd been the perfect model town since then. I guess there's always change, though.

      Any semi-lit/lit RPs you have: I'm not the owner of any at the moment.

Re: The Semi-Literate & Literate Roleplayer's Club (V3)

I require a 1x1 or tiny group roleplay in a fandom. Practically any fandom will do; I need practice writing characters that aren't my own. :D

Fandom/Media that I am fond of are: Avatar (last airbender), Marvel (movie-verse), Sherlock (books, movies, tv-version, but I won't do Sherlock-slash as I view him as asexual), Castle (only first season), Psych (first five seasons), Star Trek (old and new, I'm fairly knowledgeable), Discworld (plz this), Firefly, the Matrix (lots of ideas for this), Star Wars (original trilogy and the books afterwards), Percy Jackson (first series), Harry Potter, Bartimaeus Trilogy (another plz this), Good Omens, Romantically Apocalyptic (webcomic), Wallace and Gromit, Artemis Fowl (not into Holly x Artemis), Tron (old and new), James Bond Franchise, and the Penguins of Madagascar (I call Skipper). I am willing to do Doctor Who, but only if you're knowledgeable about it all, and can guide me where I go wrong. :) (I love the character of the Doctor, but the time-travel is generally not too well explained, which irritates me, so I haven't watched much of it. >->)

So if you'd like to work out something with any of those, pm me. I'm hoping for a fast-paced, short posts but good writing roleplay, where we can move quickly and zip through dialogue and adventures. And... unless the OC you propose fits really well, I'd prefer no big OC's. Side characters, new villains, whatever, but I hate hate hate OC x Actual Character pairings. I have seen them done effectively and enjoyable exactly once. I'm also reluctant to play slash, unless it's been hinted at in the original media, like Crowley/Aziraphale or Dean/Castiel (I think?). It often seems out of character. So if you want to do a slash pairing, I may say no, as I wouldn't view it as the character's original personality, and that's what I'm trying to practice anyway. ^-^

EDIT: Also Indiana Jones, How to Train Your Dragon and Spiderman.

INSANELY BUSY!
I am moving! For the next month or so, I am going to be so very busy.
If I'm on here, it's because I'm unwinding with writing or pets or whatever.
Please do not add to my stress, if you can. Your support is appreciated.
