What was that? Rats are worth less? No no, thats because of demand. Demand doesn't exist remember? There is no such thing as a rares list. A Dogtag is worth 4 2009 rares. Yay everybody gets what they want.

Alright lets pretend for a moment demand really doesn't exist. If everyone is so easliy able to get the pets they want, then whats the challenge of CS? Yes it can be hard, frustrating, and extremely annoying, but CS is the way it is because of demand. Because of demand we feel amazement and joy just be being gifted. Because of demand we learn to strive for what we want and not to give up even when facing defeat. Because of demand CS has that lure that draws us here and sucks us in and makes our time here so addictive. If we didn't have demand 90% of the Cs population would have complete collections, how boring is that? What do you do after a complete collection? Get another one? Easy. Gift? Whats the point everyone has everything. Chat? Plenty of other forums to do that. Draw? Plenty of other websites to do that. You say demand is bad, you say no good comes from it, you say that it should go away. Well thats the world your facing.

You can try to tell me, oh well not all demand, just ridiculous demand. Really? Whats do you think demand is? There is no difference between demand and ridiculous demand, they are one and the same. The demand-value of a pet is what the general population of CS is willing to pay for that pet. People offer to overpay for three main reasons. 1) They missed that pet for this month. 2) They like the pet so much they are willing to overpay. 3) They can't find the pet so they offer overpay in the hope of getting it. Think about it. Yes its stupid to pay a non-tag for the August Lion (actually I'd like to see proof that someone actually paid that) But if people are willing to pay that much for a pet, then that is the pet's demand-value. I do not ask people for extreme overpay for a pet, but if someone who knows what both pets are worth offers me extreme overpay for a pet, I will take it. Someone trading a UR Tiger Dog for a Green Liontail. Make no sense? Well thats demand for you. That person valued that Liontail so high that they were willing to offer a UR Tiger dog, even knowing what the pets were worth. That doesn't mean Green Liontails are worth UR Tiger dogs now, the Green Liontail is only worth what the general Cs population is willing to offer.

Just as you might trade 3 pieces of candy you hate to someone who loves them in exchange for 1 piece of candy you love that the other person hates, demand exists all around us. Take a look at your daily lives for once. Take a look at demand. Restaurants, books, movies, stores, even people are subject to demand. Where I live there are a ton of Mexican restaurants because of the high demand for them. When I lived in Florida I was surrounded by tourist traps. It seems like everyone has fallen in love with MLP and Warriors. That kinda of stuff sells because people want it, there is demand for it, it sells. Oh yeah I mentions people. I always notice people complain about 'all the cute guys being taken' Demand alert! Yes my examples are very pinpointed, I thought I'd do that to help explain them, they cover a wide range of areas, not just those exact things, open your eyes and look around you. I pulled these things out of my head without even having to think. Believe me, if I took just ne day to walk around and look for demand, I'd have a mile long list for you. Demand exists. Its part of our natural instincts and will always be a part of us. You might say that demand just needs to go away on CS or 'thats not what I mean'. But it is. This is what you are saying, whether you know it or not.

You know, I took a look at that last poll you put up. Personally, I find it insulting. 'No, I like to milk my pets for all they're "worth" Really? Really? Can you not come up with unbiased polls? Its quite obvious you think demand is stupid. You now make anyone who picks that answer feel like you look down on them and that their own opinion is wrong. You come off saying 'yes everyone can have their own opinion' and then I look at that poll and I can see you don't mean that.

This post is my own opinion in the best way I can express it. Yes I probably worded something in a way that doesn't quite explain what I meant and someone will come off saying I said something here that wasn't what I meant to say, but my goal here is not to start a fight. If it seems like I am take a step back and look at it again. I am a blunt person sometimes, but I have not nor is it my intention to insult you in any way.

Yeah come at be bros, I'm just glad to have this out because I've been dying to say this for a long time now.

I'm here because i am against double demand, the list factures in Demand so a BMD is not worth a main list, demand runs trades, but double demand is greedy, I understand getting the best value for a pet, but expecting a main list for a mid sept, or a main list for a pps is rude to the people who don't have main list pets, it excludes a group of people

Awe sorry that happened and notice how people think the Auguest Pps lion is made of gold?

Yes. I had the July lion when I was COPPA' s and traded it for a BMD bun and a caccoon PPS. Of course, I didn't know I was doing anything wrong at the time, but I'm glad the demand has gone down for it. The August is still hard to trade fairly for though.
