Here is a piece from my book it's from near the end, what do people think

I shifted knowing death was waiting, I ran away from Sai thinking that if I fought and died, he would survive and take care of India and maybe one day love her has he had loved me.
He would never forgive me for doing what I thought would protect him. he would never have the chance to, but I would wait for him in the light.
I came to the stream where I had come only once before, the first time I shifted.
It seemed fitting for me to come here, and for my nightmare to be here too. I watched in silent horror as the smilodons melted from the shadows, sabers glinting in the moonlight, they were easily bigger than me, even in moon cat form, alone i was no match for even just one of them.

Hm, looks good. You might just want to check for run-on sentences/missing punctuation.

Yeah,that's good. I have already made a book series kinda. Short,but I think pretty good for a starter. It's called Silver Times,with my fursona and my friend's fursonas. The first book is about my fursona,Silvia,and two dogs she hates,Hollywood and Spike,that have to team up to save a wolf. The second book is about Hayden,Silvia's crush,moving away,and the last book is a book about Spike being mocked by Hollywood's ex',Bruno,and how they solved off their problem while living in different states,ect. I may make a fourth. I don't know yet.
