What's something heroic that your cat has done?: Rattlesnake Tail is used to cats mistaking his tail as, well, a rattlesnake. So much so that he learned everything he could about them, studying them from a safe distance. Before he ever joined the frontiercats, this knowledge saved another cat's life. Rattlesnake Tail was watching over the current band of cats he was a part of, when he noticed a pregnant wrangler getting dangerously close to a camouflaged rattlesnake. Quicker than the snake could, he lunged at it and killed it, saving the wrangler and her unborn critters.

How do you approach a problem?: Basilstone is a very determined and headstrong cat. Where his mate, Mousetuft, will often come up with solutions from the heart that may not be as practical, Basilstone is always thinking logically and getting things done to what he knows will work.

The gathering has started and the Clans have quickly fallen into their usual groups, sometimes drifting away to interact with new cats. As the Clans started to settle down and get ready for the leader announcements, a group of strange cats prowled into the dimly lit clearing. The Clans were startled and awed by the beautiful and handsome cats that surveyed them all closely. The strangers caught wind of the large gathering and have decided to make their way into the crowd to mingle. They don't seem interested in much more than a fling, with quite a few of the strangers having already disappeared into the night when the conversations shared became too serious.

At every gathering, there will be a group of studs (male and female) for Clans to breed their cats with!

★ Each stud will have a maximum of 3 slots and each slot will be fcfs. All studs will have the same post amount requirements. A first slot will be 3 posts and a second slot will be 9 posts. A second slot can't be claimed until the Wednesday following the start of the gathering. On the last day of the gathering, a third slot will open and you will need to have 12 posts to claim it.

★ To enter for a slot, you will need to fill out the form included with each cat.

★ As usual, you will need to post in your next post that your cat is trying for kits with one of the studs. The queens will give birth in the normal amount of time. For Clans that stud with a female stud, you will receive the kittens three posts after you put in your post that your tom tried for kits with her. You will need to have a queen in your Clan to take care of the kits from a female stud.

★ If you want to breed a same-sex couple with one of the studs, you will need to state which cat in the couple will be bred.

★ Each artist will be bringing only one stud to the gathering. All studs will be posted on the first day of the gathering and no later.

★ NONE of the studs will be going to a Clan. After the gathering, they will be "retired" and may be used again at a later gathering.

★ Each stud will have their own individual form.

★ Each post must contain new content with a minimum of 150 words. You must interact with other players, not yourself, for it to count.

Gene Introduction:

Haemophilia is an X-linked recessive gene that expresses only on cats that have no healthy copy. This means it can express on AMAB cats who have it on a singular copy. Expression looks like Xo-VIIIY, while XoXo-VIII hides the expression of haemophilia.
Haemophilia is a detrimental gene. It increases the likelihood of injury, and the likelihood of an injury leaving scarring.

When a cat with haemophilia gets a scar, your mod has my permission to ask me to edit in the scar.

An AMAB cat with haemophilia can pass on the gene normally to their descendants. However, an AFAB cat is at a greater risk of complications during childbirth, and cannot safely have their own children. Haemophilia is thus most likely to be passed from father to son.

I'll probably release some blank slate this year so that there's other cats who have it out in the population.

The world seems full of good men--even if there are monsters in it.

Phasmophobia's ears are pricked with interest the entire time Ghostlight tells their story. Not much can scare Phasmophobia, but the idea of an ever-present entity stalking him made his fur ruffle. What a thrilling story! And Phasmophobia makes a mental reminder to not hunt under the moon...

Not the sheriff nor the allopath seemed to be afraid of these bestial apparitions. Were they actually, at one point in time, cats like him? A healthy amount of respect was due, all the same, and so the outskirtcats obviously had to be his favorite monsters.

Stoker is very keen on the idea of monsters that can live alongside other members of society completely freely. What an interesting idea for a book!
