no. my dex is sadly only at 30% :')
i was hoping to sos chain with the shiny charm but i want the freeze dry egg move. once my dex is complete, i'm going to sos chain something else (probably mimikyu)

oooo, good luck. it's really hard to chain ghost types due to false swipe/hold back, but maybe there's a pkmn with scrappy that could do the job.

ohhh i want shiny cresselia but i already caught her so no soft resetting . hhhoooog

also i'm finally working on my dex and it is a royal pain to do. the GTS is absolutely useless for finding just.. run of the mill pokemon (uncommon ones usually. no dragonite but not yungoos either) because everybody wants legendaries and the like. i'm running around in a patch of grass in poni somewhere (canyon i think?) and leveling up a bunch of 1st evolutions in my party, but as i'm not on the e4 yet, it's taking forever.

admittedly it's pretty cool to send out sh. reshiram every time i have to battle some level 40-something pokemon but even seeing that lil sparkle animation gets boring


and i'm only 13% done

the pokedex took me forever to complete oml
I had started a hunt for a shiny suicune (got to 750 resets) before i paused to get the shiny charm :3c I have it now so i'm going to soft reset more for this suicune. im super stoked. (i said i wasnt gonna do another hunt after suicunes but.... shiny giratina......)

GTS tip? Don't bother "Seeking" stuff, instead Deposit something for a reasonable trade, and it should be gone within the hour (so, one of your version exclusives for the other, maybe a rarer Pokemon, if you've got access to breeding Castform/etc). The reasonable trades always go quick, which leaves the impossible/legendary ones to sit there, which is why you'll rarely see them in searching.

It's too bad you've not beaten the E4 yet, as once you get access to Poni Plains you can SOS Farm Chansey for a few thousand EXP per Chansey/Blissey called... SOS Farming is probably your best bet, rather than defeating individual Pokemon. If you've got at least 50 in your Pokedex, fly back to Kukui's house, and he should give you a Lucky Egg, that'll help speed up the process a bit.

If you've been working on Pelago, if you can get Isle Evelup to Level 3, you can also use that to share EXP over a bunch of Pokemon for whilst you're not playing. Even on earlier levels, it might help a bit, but that's where you'd get the most boost (Level 3 nets you around 300EXP per half-hour "session", possibly boosted to 300 per 15 minutes if you use more beans). This is handier for lower-level Pokemon than higher levels, but a start if you've got a lot you want to level up.

The likes of Battle Buffet (Hau'oli Mall), and possibly the gym in Malie might also be helpful to try out, though you may have to beat the E4 for the trainers there to get their level boost...

Ugh, I know the feels /: Last year I had Ds in every class except one or two and it sucked for reasons exactly like this one ): I’m trying to be better about it now though, most of my grades are in the A- to C+ range oTL

I will say that if you’re like me, your love for the game should be reason enough to pull your grades up lol

On a different note, I’m so angry/mad/sad right now hhhhh This Poipole has taken more than 4000 resets and still going (I’m not sure on the exact number though, I stopped directly counting about a week ago >.<) Being a shiny hunter takes dedication oTL I think the Poipole is actually taking longer to shine than my full-odds SoulSilver shiny Lugia, come on game the chances ar supposed to be doubled in UM

See but as i said, it isnt the classwork that im having issues with. In order to get my grades up i have to see if there is extra credit to make up for participation points for days ive missed school. But if the teacher doesnt have anything i can do to make up points then im screwed.
