the thoroughbred i've been jumping with recently is 17.3 hh.
i'm around 5'6" and together we are a very tall [and apparently intimidating team]
he's very strong and high strung, but i'm surprised at how well we communicate with each other.
it amazes me every time we jump how smooth is it and how respectful we are of each other.
riding is pretty much my lifesaver- it makes me forget about everything else.
and i like forgetting about everything else.
woah guys, i'm back, after a very long time.
missed this place <3

You should add vaulting and driving to the first page c:
I'm Cami, and I do eventing and vaulting, while also learning combined driving. I work with rescues, and all have been dream horses to me (well there is naughty-boy Cherokee but...) and its rewarding to see them fit as a fiddle <3
If you have any questions for me, just ask. This is my first post on this thread ^^'

Hello! I've posted around here a few times. It's been quite awhile, but, I ride English and western, I'm working on getting my three year old paint to rein, and I take Hunter/Jumper lessons, jumping around 3'3".
I do have a few quick questions for anyone who wants to help me by answering me c:
1.) For Reining, what are some excersises for conditioning a horse's legs to do the spins and slides? My paint has pretty thin legs, so I want to make sure she won't injure her legs.
2.) I have a hunter jumper show on August 4th. Are there any ways you guys know of that can get a green horse straight to the jumps without tearing on his face? I'm competing in equitation, and my friends 15hh welsh doesn't really like to go straight. And in equitation, I'd rather not smack my leg on the side of the standards xD. I know the basic, "set up bumper rails" but, does anyone have any other tips?
