I technically didn't win Kaida, but I was just sitting there in surprise.
When I won Akarui, I smiled really hard for like two minutes straight.

When did you first discover Kiamara Adopts?
Someone wanted to commission me (it was baby's first commission) and it was of a kiamara. So, naturally I investigated the species but didn't get interested until #240.

I'd been crazy productive with the art contest! I don't expect to win anything, but its been really great practice! I've never done backgrounds before, only done shading/highlights once, never draw quads, and have never used photos as pose references. I managed to finish 5 shading singles with complex backgrounds, 8 colored sketches (1 shaded), and 1 group piece! That's a lot to tackle with just one event! Here are my favorite pieces

i sort of panicked since summer's my first and only kia<33 i was surprised i even got her.

When did you first discover Kiamara Adopts?
when i first started in 2012. i think someone commissioned me and i thought they were pretty cool.

summer melody-- she's very social but is quick-tempered due to how she was raised (everyone was very sweet, rarely had fights with her). she liked children and is determined to prove that she can raise herself without a friend or mate (she is the youngest of the family, without a family of her own). finally, she's confident and ambitious.
