So, I'm slowly making a Xenomorph Queen cosplay, and would love advice on what paint to use to paint the crest (image attached). It's made from a stiff cardboard, hot glue, a helmet, and EVA foam (the blue stuff). What type of paint would you recommend?

i recommend using spray paint and gouache acrylic to do detailing.

hey guys :> i'm working on my Lara Croft ('13 rise of the tomb raider) cosplay !! so far, i have the gun, under shirt, necklace and gauze done :>
i've still got quiiiiite some time to make the other things as PAX East is at the end of march;
all i've got left is a stained top shirt, ice axe (which im ordering a blank and painting.) holster (made from EVA) and stained pants which i'm almost done with :>>

I painted my ODST suit today and I love it so much! It used to be white with purple highlights and it was Not Great but now it's gray and I'm going to add orange highlights to match my brother and the team we're starting to put together I am so excited for it!

I've also got an instagram/facebook page, if people are interested (Am I allowed to share that here?) It's @spannah_in_the_works_cosplay, and the same over on facebook but with spaces instead of underslashes ^-^

Big hype for wellyged about to start work on one of the two cosplays i'm wearing that weekend the other one I'm buying and have to make the swords for.

aah !! im going to the emerald city comic con in may in seattleand i'm really happy !! i've never really cosplayed before, but I've been interested in it since like 6th/7th grade, and i don't really wanna go full-out on it since it's my first time and i'll be going with my family.

since i wanna do something basic(as in not a whole costume, this is probably going to be a bit complex to make lol) im pretty sure i'm going to try and make the infinity gauntlet c-: !

I'm so tired. The Xenomorph Queen costume keeps falling apart, and if it does it once more, I'm done. Will it really be worth all the utterly insane effort in the end?

I declare henceforth that if once more it breaks, I'm not continuing to cosplay her. End of.

Why did I think I could do something that I obviously cannot?

I've made it known that if it broke, I'd stop. Dad agreed with me, and now he's changed his mind.

Didn't win anything, was so devastated by it breaking that my cosplay dance group captain had to go in for judging with me to help keep me calm.
Not gonna make anything that complicated any time soon. and use pre strung beads rather than ones i've done, be much more secure

So, I've thought of three options -- young 02 (Darling In The Franxx), young Hitomi (Killing Bites), and the Rainy Devil (Bakemonogatari). Thoughts?
