@seedcakes - hmm, i honestly can't give you a confirmed answer there? he looks similar to a red-lavender cat. but that's a mutation only found in chimeras, and its so new that it hasn't been explained yet.

alsoooo, i've been toying with the idea of opening up some kind of cat genetics shop??? idk how that would work though

also this is unrelated but i just realized there has been like. no mention of planes in WC ever, what the heck. i wanna know how clan cats react to planes (and what would they call them?? air-monsters??? sky-beasts????)

@seedcakes: Maybe people could send in their cats to you and you tell them if the cat is genetically possible? I would recommend using this coat color calculator, and these two places did some genetics review. I sent in this ask and recieved this reply, if you'd like a specific example.

@solgaleo: I like Ratbite, or maybe Ratfang/Ratclaw because rats attack with fangs and claws (and for the traditionalists out there, -fang = good hunter/fighter, -claw = good fighter)? As to the planes, I imagine that they'd be called bird-monsters or sky-monsters because they look similar to birds but are clearly not.

Actually I quite like monster-kits. Maybe that'd also call really tiny cars monster-paws.

Also: I just found the gathering time (my searching skill is amazing), and that's 2am here in the UK... so yeah, I'll be asleep XD

this monster talk reminds me of how one of the erins actually said she didnt like the name 'monster' and that she wished she could change that haha. calling planes sky-monsters seems more likely tbh, i wonder how they'd react to hearing them though? i live in an area with an army base and a airport nearby, so hearing planes is real common. (and can i just say - its terrifying to hear them every time)

@Simonpet - i think both would work for him, actually! i might go with -fang, as i imagine he's pretty balanced and well-versed in hunting and fighting.
