rip. So I’d forgotten that I’d changed banks since I first preordered the game, so when they attempted to collect payment for it on the 10th so they could mail out my copy, there wasn’t anything so my order was declined. So pretty much there’s nothing I can do except go out and buy the game, and I can’t get my preorder Mystery gift either :/

First up - stop using Poke Refresh, as that increases Affection, not Happiness/Friendship (yup, they’re two different counters)
Pichu starts at 70 Happiness, and you need to get up to 220 to evolve it. To raise Happiness? You can do a variety of things BUT be warned that the “gain” from each activity lowers as you go up the “ranks” (0-100, 101-200, 200+).
Any, it’s stuff like massages (+20, +10, +5), using Vitamins (+5, +3, +2), every 128 steps walked (+2, +2, +1) and levelling up (+5, +4, +3)... If you’ve got access to festival Plaza, the “Friendship” restaurants sell items that will increase this counter as well. Really, all I can recommend is to keep at it!

I started Ultra Sun yesterday and it is so much fun! I don't know if it's just me but it seems a bit harder than SuMo.
My team so far is Dave Strider the Torracat, Jade Harley the Rockruff, John Egbert the Wingull, and Rose Lalonde the Zubat :D

i'm not gonna start ultra sun until wednesday - that's when break is for me, and i want to be able to play it nonstop!

on a different note, the gts is a wonderful thing! i got my 4th shiny regigigas today. what pisses me off tho is when people ask for like.. a male ditto, or a pokemon that isn't attainable at a certain level. was anything done about that in usum's gts? or is it still broken?

I mean I really like ultra sun so far. It feels like platinum and not between platinum/bw2 like someone said in an interview. I'm only on the beginning of the third island though so we'll see if that changes.

My team ended up being: Kanto Raichu (Laxus), Milotic (Marine), Nidoqueen, Koamala (Zuzu), Dusk Lycanrock (Balewolf), Bellosom (Laka). I might swap Zuzu out for a legend later but we'll see.

Tbh so far Im kinda regretting buying it? Aside from a few extra pokemon and plot changes the battles and stuff are mostly the same as s/m ^^
