In my opinion, you should watch older anime {2004-2007ish} if you are looking for something less dramatic and not as dark. There are, of course, exceptions. If you're looking for philosophical anime, feels anime, or dark anime, recent ones usually have a better plot because while the older Animes have set the structure and base for the genre and plot portions, in my opinion only the newer ones have gotten a chance to actually dissect them and piece them back together into something amazing. Of course, there are always exceptions, but that's just my verdict. ^^
Thank you, Monty.

You will be missed.

They are like my favorite animes ever. X3

Well, I also like Free! Iwatobi Swim Club.
And Kyoukai no Kanata.

I find Kyoukai no Kanata hilarious because Hiroomi always puts his hands under Akihito's armpits because he says that they're cold.
Ahahahahahaha.

And in Free! with like... Makoto and Haruka. Or Rei and Nagisa.

I absolutely adore Kyoukai no Kanata- I love Akihito's obsession with glasses!!!

I'm just going to take the time to love your signature. >w<
I started watching Kyoukai no Kanata last night, and I'm currently up to episode 6/7.
As I said a page or two ago, I'm cosplaying as Ai for a cosplay competition at a maid cafe. owo

I really love the older ghibli movies (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind doesn't look like it's already 30 years old).
My all time favourite (and first) anime is Nadia and the Secret of Blue Water from 1990. The art might not be that beautiful, but it's still good in my opinion and the story is very interesting (Hayao Miyazaki also had some ideas for the plot).

Some other older animes:
Detectiv Conan start 1994
Yu-Gi-Oh start 2000
Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne 1998
Munto 2003
Fullmoon wo Sagashite 2002

I also read Dengeki Daisy from time to time, but I'm not up to date, since it has quite many chapters
(even though I sometimes look at the newer chapters).

From what I have seen, I think that only the art and animation style changed.

I think I read till chapter 30 or so, but that was already about a year ago. Before I can start reading again, I will probably reread some chapters (I have a good memory, but I like to reread things) and I don't have the time to read 30 chapters at the moment. If I start I won't be able to stop and my reading and want to read list is also quite long.

I have all Nadia DVDs (german version). It seems like someone uploads them in english on youtube.
Episode 1 Part 1

Opening
AMV: Nautilus Crew
AMV: Grandis, Sanson, Hanson

Ok, i'm doing something for my friend, and she needs some anime-related questions answered. So here are some open questions - try to answer as many as you can:

Which do you like better: The Skip Beat! Anime or Manga?
Should they turn Cirque Du Freak into an Anime?
what is your favorite Say "I Love You" couple?
What anime genre is your favorite?
If you could meet any Anime character irl, who would it be?
If you were in Magical Warfare, what magic type would you be/want to be?
What anime (that currently only has a season 1) do you think needs a season two?
What is your Anime/Manga OTP?

Thanks guys! =^3^=
