how did you get into this fandom in the first place?
oh lordy, I can't even remember. It was like three or four years ago?? I think? I found the first ep on a whim, (after watching an ep of soul eater rip) and because I love history so much, it instantly clicked with me. I'm a sucker for tongue-in-cheek politics and stereotypes. from there, the addiction grew.

how did you get into this fandom in the first place?

If I remember right, it went something like this:
I was listening to one of those "emotional soundtracks" you can find all over Youtube (some are really good to listen to while writing), and it had a very bloody picture of GerIta with Italy dying. I didn't know who they were, but the picture somehow looked interesting even though I don't usually like bloody or gorey pictures. Then in the comments, someone imagined a last conversation between Germany and Italy to match the picture, and though I didn't really understand the comment, it sparked my interest because it was funny and sad at the same time. Another comment wished that Hetalia was actually like that instead of being goofy, so this reassured me that it wasn't as "heavy" as the picture.

I didn't go look up Hetalia right then and there, though. But later on Chicken Smoothie, I noticed a lot of people were into an anime called Hetalia with personified countries, and this seemed interesting, and I realized this must be the same anime from that picture, so I looked it up ^^.

how did you get into this fandom in the first place?

how I first got into the fandom? hmm it's been such a long time ago I don't remember exactly, but I remember seeing fanart of it and thinking wth is this crack!? and over time I was like aight imma youtube this and see just wth is going on with this show

at first I was taken back at how random and all over the place it was but I just kept watching until I was completely hooked!

and thus my love for hetalia began~ ( lame story and not sure if it's 100% accurate but meh xD )

how did you get into this fandom in the first place?

An ex-friend introduced me to the show and I instantly loved it. We were the England/Germany (and Scotland)/Canada trio (and we were gonna cosplay as them) and got more friends into it. Eventually we ended up making our own little fan-group that was all friends with an addition to a Russia, Romano, America, Japan, and a few others I can't recall because its been so long lol

It was really fun but sadly it kind of fell apart, mostly because of school getting in the way. Everyone but me is on their last year (I graduated early) so hopefully we can start it up again. I really liked bonding with my friends that way. It definitely won't be the way it use to be but maybe we can all use Hetalia to strengthen bonds again.

Also, welcome to the group Strawberry! I use to be known as .Thranduil. aha. I've changed my user 5 million times since then... and haven't been very active on CS in general until lately. I hope you have fun here! <3

How did you get into this fandom in the first place?
My friend showed me the first episode when I was visiting her, and I thought, "Hey, I could watch more of this". And eventually I started watching it, and honestly it was THE one that REALLY got me into anime. ovo'
