blasphemy (in case you didn't know, haha) was a song from.... i think no phun intended? i dunno, my brain isn't working right now, but that's exciting because tyler has a habit of recycling lyrics from no phun intended. for example, the lyrics from the super fast rap part of ode to sleep are from a no phun intended song, as is the 'i start to part to halves of my heart in the dark' lyric, which i can't remember what songs that's a part of. but the idea that he might recycle lyrics from blasphemy is super exciting because i love blasphemy with a passion. also this could be relevant because blasphemy and doubt have been prevalent themes in their music.
also, im seeing things saying the shazam has confirmed heathens as being part of the suicide squad soundtrack???

yeah i saw that everyone is saying it going to be for suicide squad. although, a while back the suicide soundtrack list was leaked (take this with a grain of salt as i am not totally sure of this) and top was not on that list, so some are speculating that the song is actually for the new purge movie??????

I saw a post on ig saying that ppl thought heathens was about the Orlando shootings, I strongly feel its not about that but if you think about it in that way... fam a piece of me died when I read that.

i don't think it's about the pulse shooting, simply because that happened four days ago and it takes way longer than four days to write and produce a song. also, if it were, it seems like tyler would be sympathizing with the shooter??? and that isn't something ty or josh would ever do, imo. but the cool thing about top is that the lyrics can mean so many different things to different people.

i don't even know what to think about what the song is for, honestly, because there's so much going on. i personally think it fits suicide squad really well, but idk. and i honestly don't really care (not much of a moviegoer here) i just wanna appreciate it for what it is right now, haha.

@noodle oh dude please do! it's so good! it was ty's solo album back when he was in highschool. so the writing and producing isn't that great, but i really love it anyways. if you need some links or a list of songs that i know off of it, i can hook you up haha.

I know there are three rumors to what Heathens is about.

Orlanda
(Being in) Suicide Squad
and the old Clique members being mean towards the newer ones.

Honestly? The Orlando one doesn't make sense. The song being in SS could be a possibility, but I'm leaning very close to this being about the Clique itself. Thoughts?
