Yeah, I've noticed. Can't blame that Mrs. Hiromu Arawaka is a genius for creating FMA.

I like Brotherhood more though. 2003 is hard to rewatch random episodes of because:
A) Every website except the extraordinarily slow AnimeWaffles which has the dub uses the Adult Swim version, which is insanely loud and doesn't have Melissa and Kesenai Tsumi.
B) The ending is way too depressing.
C) About a quarter of it is filler.

You should still finish 2003, though... while I personally didn't like 2003's ending, you might.

Hmm... I don't know...
I got distracted, so haven't got far in either of them, but I'll probably just watch 2003 for a bit...
