What about WMEs is so appealing to you compared to other species? The realism? Designs? Lineart? The staff? Organization? etc.
I like a lot of things about equids, one simply being that it has an active community. It's no fun when you do when an adoptable but the species dies out so quickly or just was practically dead to begin with and you don't really get to do anything with said adoptable. I also really like the designs and species in general. AND the other people, I've met so many kind people in the WME community already. <3 I just really like it all.

Personally, I think it's because the species itself is portrayed in such a way they seem like they could actually be real. The designs are natural, the species has certain key features that allow it to survive, etc... Everything just seems to well organized for survival. I just really thought that was interesting. It's pretty much the only species I've ever liked enough to want one of XD

So, without a computer I have had some serious art withdrawals since I was pushing through my challenge pretty steadily before the fan went out and my computer overheated and melted down, rendering it useless.
