I named Kalei Kalei because it meant beautiful bouquet/wreath/flower in Hawaiian, and I wanted an exotic name besides Kai.
And I named Raine her name because she looked like clouds with blue and green rain.

lately stuff around JMDs is WAYYYY too strict. I'm sorry but it's true. say it's because we're rude all you want but you can't ignore it ^^; it's kinda ridiculous. you can't post on the main thread saying you like JMDs without being told off for spam. you can hardly post anything. this is the FANCLUB so I don't see why we can't ask questions and just do regular FAN stuff for JMDs? like what.
I KNOW that the pages went too quickly. but isn't that a good thing? we all were chatting and having fun and actually using a fanclub like it's supposed to be used. I KNOW fail doesn't feel like making another fanclub so soon. but then -- and boy am I going to get hate for this -- why not get a manager for the fanclub who's willing to make new fanclubs as the fans need them? ^^' I'm sorry but it's true.
JMDs are awesome -- but a big part of a species is also the fanbase, the users, the adopters. And if you're strict and yell at them for every single thing, calling them rude and stupid and mean, and rant at them or give them bans & warnings for simply stating their opinion, you're going to lose their interest, no matter how awesome your species is. And when that happens ... a species crumbles. I love JMDs ... I don't want it to happen to them ... but it could. It really really could if we continue this way. ^^; And yes, I do feel so strongly about this that I'm risking a ban, a warning, loads of hate -- maybe I'll even lose my artist position. But it HAS to be said, I feel, and nobody else was going to say it ^^;

Same here, i just haven't really felt welcome as of late, and i don't want to do group rps or collabs because of it and i've been sticking to 1x1s with my friends because i didn't really want to go out into the community.

Originally, I just PMed this to Char. I was afraid of getting a warning or a ban. But I want to help defend Char.

I think Char is 100% right. If we can't ask questions, what is the point of the fanclub? All anyone ever does is ask for/offer art and do Join.Me's. The fan club will really die if we don't have anything to do on it! Whenever I post on here it's either a join.me or offering art. It doesn't make me feel very welcome that I can't really do anything on hear.

I hope I don't get banned for this, but I think I need to defend Char because I agree so so much with her (?)

Questions should be fine now... It's been quite a long time since the last FC. The problem was that we were going to fast too early on and fail had just made a new one and she didn't want to have to do it again only about a month after a new one had been made. I'm going to go and ok question asking but don't go crazy.

Char does have a point, but it's just the general hate that the staff (especially the moderators) have been receiving is the problem. I became a moderator and I am strict but I am simply doing my job an enforcing the rules. I understand that people are upset with me for that but the way it works. I'm under a lot of pressure right now from both my life online and offline, and getting hate mail doesn't help. I'll try to loosen up a bit, but only on the condition that the general masses start treating the moderators with respect. (Especially froggy and myself. I hear everyday about some hateful PM someone has sent her and if you'll notice, we don't actually give out many strikes.) Also, stop ignoring the warning we give out for things. We get irritated having to repeat ourselves so many times and that's part of the reason why I've been so strict. If I have said it once I have said it a million times and people still don't listen. That is the problem.

Char, you won't be getting any sort of punishment for that, you stated your opinion in a rational and respectful way and I appreciate that. Everyone could take a page from your book on manners.

Also, stop defending char, she didn't do anything that needs defending and it seems like you guys depict us as cruel heartless NPCs. —__—; and it wouldn't result in a ban. Only if you directly attacked the staff. And at most that could get you a strike but it was respectful so it's fine.

Also, I was wondering what kind of designs people in the community like to see. I'm not an artist but I am finding it discouraging that I have had a contest up for a few months with a design I really worked hard on and it's not getting much attention. Wouldn't it be cool to have JMDs based on the elements? As in fire, air, water, and earth. No special lines, just besed on everything with the element; like for fire, embers, ash, flames, volcanoes, ect, for water, lakes, oceans, rain, clouds, ect, for air, sky, wind, gas, ect, and for earth, dirt, stone, gems, ect.
Just an idea.
