To get a suit, get tons if money. By tons, I mean it could cost you thousands. It's cheaper to make one yourself but even then you can't guarantee it's of good quality. I personally think that the maker you want depends on your preferences and how much you are willing to pay.

Head only - $500-$1000
Light partial(head, hands, tail) - $700-$1300
Full partial(head, hands, tail, feet, armsleeves) - $900-$1600
Full plantigrade(no leg padding) - $1300-$2500
Full digitigrade(with leg padding) - $1800-$3000

Those are for intermediate and above makers, which is mostly whats on the site I linked. You take a risk going to beginners becaue they have little experience and you don't know how good the construction is. Also look at reviews of suit makers to make sure they're reputable. Suits may look good, but you never know whats inside. Just look at Itsprobablymars, they've sent out products(multiple times over the past year or two, with the most recent only being a month or two ago) with not only bad construction and holes, but reeking of smoke and containing black mold, live and dead cockroaches, and live and dead silverfish.

They have a page on their official website that explains DAD anatomy. They also have drawings of what they are meant to look like feral. Lots of cool stuff! I hope this helps!

so my boyfriend is still,... "iffy" about furries. he thinks they're weird. but, i managed to explain everything to him and even helped him make his ow fursona (though i dont think he's one to use it any time soon.)

his fursona is Donny the Dalmatian,,,, dog... thing. i don't even know. He just listed off traits.

my fursona is Luna the Wolf/Dog thing (not good with names, apparently.)

one of my older friends (he just graduated highschool, ugh. I'm still stuck in highschool.) made a fursona based off of one of his characters/personalities he has since he has DID (dissosciative identity disorder.) For his normal self, we'll refer to him as "K". his personality "Jack" is basically like a cutthroat, cold-blooded killer. so he, of course, went with a tiger.
