My first thought was 'Japanese forest spirit'. I can explain why though; they besides having the mystical Kirin; known as the Qilin in other Asian cultures. There is also a Japanese cartoon; Princess Mononoke which expresses the Life spirit of the forest as a stag like body and a human like face.

But they're also quite different; since they have a canine quality to them instead of dragon.
Which made me love them with their differences.

Hmmm... when I first saw the Whelkon, I have to say that my first thought was 'interesting.'

Then my mind started moving a mile a minute like it usually does and I lost track of my chain of thought.

Hopefully, mine will get some attention soon. XD Maybe I ventured too far from the norm designs because it's just not getting a lot of attention. Thinking the others will have more duller thinner stripes and try to make it more natural in hue. Take the vibrancy down a notch. Poor guy. X3

Awww no, it's not that/ It just happens sometimes D;
Same thing with the purple batch, some had 1 or 2 forms even after a week.
Oh well, I'm sure he'll get an amazing home anyways <3
