Typing. Totally the typing. I don't have the freaking time. -_- I don't know how certain users make a new character for every RolePlay they're in. ._. Scary.

          Lawl. And finding the GIFs/Pictures.

what do you guys think is worse, thinking out the character, or typing it all out once you've got it thought up?

Definitely writing out what you've already created in your mind...

Anyway Roleplayers, if I were to create a 'Realistic' 18th century Drama themed roleplay who would be interested in joining?

P.S. Who else here gets annoyed when people are talking about the 19th century (1800s) and say that the century is the 18th century (1700s)?

ah, I suck at finding pictures D: like omg. no way.
I tend to make a new charrie for every role-play I'm in but I never make a form... people wonder how I can keep them all straight and true to their personality, but I suppose I just have a good memory for it? xD

It would depend on the location (England, France, America, etc...) But I would still be highly interested in joining. The 18th century is one of my favorites in history.

I don't mind any part of making a character, really. :3 I just hate doing it over and over again for RPs that die. x|

Also, shoehorning the character into other people's forms. Likes and Dislikes? Why do you need those? Meaning of their name? Place of birth? Shoe size? Okay, I've never seen shoe size, but still. You do not need to know that my character likes pickles. The order of the entries in the form is important too. Powers has to go first, because it'll affect their personality and history. (At least for me. I can't write it in any other order.)

I love it when a RP lets me use my own form. ^-^

likes and dislikes drive me crazy. It its a character that I use often, I might start putting things there later, after I've been role-playing them. Like if a character asks them if they like something and they say no, I don't want to contradict myself two pages later. ut right away? ><
I just like being able to give a sample and skimp on the form, because I lose all my muse when I sit down to start typing, and I can never make the personality sound all fancy. Its just their personality anyway...

Lol. I know te feelings Rosie.

Arty; I enjoy those tiny little details. Mainly because I incorporate all of it into my characters personality. Like, for example, the meaning of the name helps me decide what kind of person they are. When and where they were born also helps, because somebody born in Florida wouldn't like camping [per se], and somebody born in the wild would adore it. The meaning of the name is important to me too, because of the saying "it's all in the name". Somebody's personality can be affected just by their name. Like, every mckenzie I've met has been insane with their high energy levels. [just an example] I enjoy the likes and dislikes also, because of a cheat sheet for later. If they don't like spiders, I can look back at my form, and pretend that they'll flip out when they see one. It's all just a giant cheat sheet for me. ;p
I get where you're coming from though. A full three paragraphs on likes and dislikes is ridiculous.

Most likely France or England as I know the most about what was going on in those countries and I'm not that familiar about American history.

I adore the fashion of the 18th century ^3^, however, I'm not all that fussed on their hygiene D:

City, I understand - sometimes likes and dislikes can be fun too, it's just usually not necessary for me to get a grasp of the character. ^-^ For me, It's fun to connect them and make a person out of it, but I know some people hate it. It's like, as long as you know who they are, and everyone else has enough details to work off of, why be picky?

*sigh* But my preference is to just ramble on for five paragraphs or so describing the character and bouncing back and forth between everything about the person in an impenetrable blob of blathering. As that would irritate people, I don't do that. xD
